The continuous activities from the source are effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished. May the lotus feet of the glorious Guru, the pervading lord of a hundred families, remain inseparable as the ornament of Brahma. Through the sun-like play of the victorious ones who have perfected the three great (qualities), Completely dispelling the darkness of the three realms, revealing the light of the path to definite goodness. Among all knowable things, there is none comparable to you, the lord of Dharma, the king of Dharma. To the compassionate one who accomplishes all purposes, I bow with great reverence through my three doors (body, speech, mind). The glorious Buddha, born from a lotus, holds all the magical emanations of all Buddhas. As long as space endures, with an immortal body, constantly benefiting beings, a body of wisdom. The feet of the great bliss speech vajra Padmakara, father and consort. Though having attained enlightenment, still firmly resides in the beautiful pistil of the heart-lotus. Whoever hears your holy name, the banners of billions of demonic hordes are overturned. The sword of wisdom radiates splendor, instantly cutting through the net of all ignorance. Bestowing the light of the two wisdoms with ease, opening the precious gate to definite goodness. I bow to the feet of Manjushri, father and consort, may you bestow supreme stainless wisdom. The great chariot illuminating the Buddha's teachings in the noble land (India) and the land of snow (Tibet), Those who have appeared in the three times and uphold its (Kagyud) lineage, To all who are impartial and free from deceit, With great reverence, from the heart, I prostrate a hundred times. My mind is as narrow as the eye of a needle, Though unable to measure the boundless extent of knowable things like space, For the sake of those with similar fortune as myself to easily comprehend, I will elucidate this precious summarized treatise. The limits of space and knowable things are endless, who can measure them completely? Nevertheless, by merely indicating a partial characteristic, one can understand the true nature of all that is to be explained. Therefore, even by tasting just a drop of water held in the vase of wisdom, Those endowed with intelligence can taste the supreme flavor of the great ocean of knowledge. All the ultimate conclusions of scripture and reasoning, Which the noble ones have excellently taught, But which those of lesser intellect find difficult to comprehend, Therefore, I will elucidate the meaning of this treatise with simple words.
