Moreover, the venerable Nagarjuna said: Whatever becomes the cause of samsara, Having thoroughly purified that very thing, The pure that very thing is nirvana, The Dharmakaya is also that very thing. Thus it is said. The alaya that appears as holding objects, the mind with afflictions, and the alaya that possesses the impurity of the six aggregates of consciousness, that is the root of delusion, the alaya with impurity, or it is called the alaya-consciousness. While these eight aggregates possess impurity, their own nature abides in the nature of being without impurity, that is the Victorious One, (138) called the Buddha-nature, and that very thing abides without change in all the stages of the ground, path, and result. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: Because it possesses adventitious faults, Because it possesses the qualities of its own nature, Just as it was before, so it is afterwards, It is the unchanging nature of reality. Thus it is said. What obscures that Buddha-nature is impure conceptualization, That is also what the venerable Nagarjuna said: Even the stainless sun and moon, Are obscured by clouds, smoke, mist, The face of Rahu and dust, etc., Obscured by five obscurations. Likewise, the mind of clear light, Is obscured by desire, hatred, laziness, Excitement and doubt, Obscured by five obscurations. Thus it is said. The Victorious Maitreya said: Anger towards the Dharma, the view of self, Fear of the suffering of samsara, Indifference to the benefit of sentient beings, Intense desire, non-Buddhists, Hearers, And the four obscurations of the self-awakened ones. Thus, the worldly people, non-Buddhists, Hearers, the four self-awakened ones, possess the four impure obscurations in their continuum. The antidotes that destroy them are: Particularly generating faith in the cause of purity, etc., The four dharmas. As it is said (139), from the pure conceptualization, the seed of faith and devotion arises in the Great Vehicle, with the wisdom of realizing selflessness, with the womb of meditative absorption, generating great compassion, like a nurturing mother, possessing these, one becomes a son of the Victorious One who has entered the path, and gradually increases from path to path, holding the power of excellence, this is called the truth of the path. At this time, arising from pure conceptualization

According to the statement that "Dharma is the lord of wisdom in the noble land, possessing the meaning of holding, and is said to be the truth of the path," the term Dharma has nine meanings and signifies holding everything. Here, when associated with the Dharma of the path, the Mahayana path holds back from falling into the two extremes, and this explanation of holding is the view of the omniscient Könchok Yankak. Alternatively, in the accumulation path of adhimukti-caryā, there is the clinging to be abandoned; in the application path, there is the clinging of the antidote; in the impure grounds, there is the clinging that is free from both abandonment and antidote; and in the three pure grounds, there is the existence of the fruit of Buddhahood, hence it is said to be the truth of the path, as it appears in the instructional lineage of the great scholar master. To summarize the meaning of these, sentient beings are those whose Dharma-nature Tathāgatagarbha is obscured by the adventitious defilement of delusion, concealed by the three: mind, intellect, and consciousness (page 140). Those who purify that defilement with antidotes are diligent path-enterers. Those who are completely liberated from the husk of defilement, and in whom the originally present kāya and jñāna manifest, are called Buddhas. As stated in the Uttaratantra, "Impure, impure, pure, and extremely pure, are said in order to be sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathāgatas." Like that. The third part of the root text, the concluding meaning, has three aspects: the explanation of how the text was composed. The first is: "One will go forth from the ultimate meaning." It is said that children, ordinary beings, and those who have entered the Hinayana, obscured by the adventitious defilement of delusion, are clearly shown the nature of the ultimate reality through the profound and vast texts of the Mahayana. Because they do not understand the nature of samsaric dharmas and the wisdom of nirvana, those who are deluded by the obscurations of ignorance such as clinging to self and clinging to what belongs to self, have been wandering uncontrollably in the great ocean of suffering since beginningless time, driven by the powerful force of karmic winds (page 141). Those wise ones who desire to be liberated from it, apart from relying on this great Mahayana tradition that is superior to the Hinayana by seven qualities, there is no other means to reach the other shore of that ocean of suffering. Therefore, one can attain the great non-abiding nirvana.
