如果不用意义来解说， 大圆满无为法， 就会变成无意义的过失。 如是说。四支是出自《智慧自解脱》： 如雄鹰翱翔天空般的智慧， 将意义的内涵全部揭示。 如母虎跳跃般的智慧， 将意义的大地分割开来解说。 如乌龟慢行般的智慧， 将文字的字句全部嚼碎来解说。 如珍珠串联般的智慧， 将口诀归纳为意义来解说。 如是说，以意义揭示内涵，以文句分割段落，以词语解说意义，将口诀的意义归纳，此为四者。以五圆满的约定来解说，即不共的，共同的开端是以五圆满来简要指示，以及经文真实广说，即导师、法、时间、眷属、处所圆满。其中，在共同的那些之中，不会出现任何一个开端，而此处，基自性光明法界意义的下界，以自生的觉性不迁变，无取舍的自性，导师如此宣说，在我开示和解说之时，如此出现。词语的续部，即是安住于何处而修习，即是表示现在的时机，如此我听闻之时，在一个时间，如此在两个开端中赐予教诲。以那些确定母子的标题为觉性自显现，有解说的精华，其归纳意义为声音意义归纳字，声音安住轮，其后文，其归纳小册，母子七者安住。在《心之明镜》中，有正文意义注释，秘密的意义归纳，秘密的后文，此为母子四者。在《狮子力圆满》中，有大解说精华，连接钥匙，章节的名称解说，意义轮廓归纳，意旨的滴水，目标排除七者，见解的钉桩，其标志字，秘密的后文，此为母子十者。在《无字》中，有莲花开放，意义归纳明灯，秘密的遗嘱，秘密的后文，此为母子五者。在《吉祥美饰》中，有错乱之基显明的明镜，错乱的次第大字，明灯汇集，其自身意义归纳，任运成就文字，本来清净文字，轮涅六次第，秘密的后文。

If not explained with meaningful purpose, The Great Perfection, being effortless, Will turn into the fault of being meaningless. Thus it is said. The four branches are from Rigpa Rangdrol (Wisdom Self-Liberated): With the mind like a great garuda soaring in the sky, Explain by revealing all the essences of meaning. With the wisdom like a tigress leaping, Explain by cutting off the great ground of meaning. With the mind like a tortoise crawling, Explain by chewing all the syllables of the letters. With the wisdom like a string of pearls, Explain by combining the instructions into meaning. Thus it is said, revealing the essence with meaning, dividing the sections with verses, explaining the meaning with words, summarizing the meaning of the instructions, these are the four. Explaining with the agreement of the five perfections, namely the uncommon, the common introduction is briefly indicated by the five perfections, and the actual scripture is extensively explained, namely the teacher, the Dharma, the time, the retinue, and the place are perfect. Among those common ones, no introduction arises from just one, but here, the basis is naturally luminous, in the lower realm of the Dharmadhatu meaning, the self-born awareness is immutable, with the nature of no acceptance or rejection, the teacher declares, at the time when I taught and explained, thus it appears. The continuum of words, that which is practiced by abiding in what place, indicates the present time, thus I heard at one time, thus teachings are bestowed in two introductions. With those headings that determine mother and son, awareness is self-arisen, there is the essence of explanation, its summarized meaning is the summarized letters of sound and meaning, the wheel of sound abiding, its back writing, that summarized booklet, the seven mother and son reside. In the Mirror of the Heart, there is the commentary on the meaning of the text, the summarized secret meaning, the secret back writing, these are the four mother and son. In the Lion's Strength Perfected, there is the great explanation essence, the connecting key, the explanation of the chapter names, the summarized meaning outline, the drop of intention, the seven exclusions of object, the peg setting of view, its mark letter, the secret back writing, these are the ten mother and son. In the Without Letters, there is the lotus opening, the meaning summarized lamp, the secret testament, the secret back writing, these are the five mother and son. In the Auspicious Beautiful Adornment, there is the mirror that clarifies the basis of confusion, the great letter of the order of confusion, the assembled lamps, its own meaning summarized, spontaneously accomplished letters, primordially pure letters, the six stages of samsara and nirvana, the secret back writing.

In the Mirror of the Heart, there are the mark of the vehicle, the weapon of speech, the condensed lineage, the blazing lamp, and the condensed meaning itself, which are the sixfold mother and child. In the Burning Lamp, there is the source of the lamp, the pearl garland, the essence of the condensed meaning, and the secret postscript, which are the fivefold mother and child. In the Spontaneous Perfection, there is the root of empowerment, the purification of empowerment, the six wheels, the karma writing of empowerment, the subtle empowerment, the great arrangement of empowerment, the armor without elaboration, the key of empowerment, the guidance of empowerment, the clarification of the condensed meaning, and the secret postscript, which are the twelvefold mother and child. In the Six Spaces, there are the six great spaces, the precious clear garland, the condensed meaning thereof, and the secret postscript, which are the fourfold mother and child. In the Burning Corpse, there is the vast lotus space, the five arrangements, the eleven ways of descending, the lamp garland, the condensed meaning itself, and the secret postscript, which are the sevenfold mother and child. In the Jewel Heap, there is the wheel of wisdom, the four needs and desires, the cutting flame, the condensed meaning thereof, and the secret postscript, which are the sixfold mother and child.
