Eighth, The Chapter of the Wish-Fulfilling Net, Vajra Essence. Eighth, The Chapter of the Wish-Fulfilling Net, Vajra Essence. Then, to explain the specific vehicle of the Clear Light Vajra Essence, there are two aspects: describing how to surpass the lower vehicles, and explaining the supreme vehicle itself. First, from the Tantra of the Heap of Jewels: "Without knowing this supreme tantra, those who wish to practice it are like entering a cliff path." This means that those of the lower vehicles, relying on intellectual speculation and the views of words, think that they will be liberated in a kalpa, lifetime, one life, or bardo, etc., and thus consider enlightenment to be something with a time limit. Because they cannot directly see the actual face of self-arisen wisdom, it is not correct. Even with the three circles of thigle, they cannot instantly see the meaning of manifest wisdom. As it says in the Turquoise Letter: "Emaho! Son of lineage, without grasping the measure of this hidden essence, the heart-drop, the person who believes in the introductions of outer, inner, and secret is like desiring a sweet fruit from a seed of snow." And: "Emaho! Son of lineage, without seeing the meaning of the secret, most secret heart-drop, to place hope in the four bardos of outer, inner, and secret is like building a house on clouds in the sky." This very sign of self-arisen wisdom, the appearance of the nature of the five wisdoms, can be seen by the senses in an instant within. Therefore, it is superior to all meditation that is made up of words, letters, thoughts, non-thoughts, and contrived samadhi, and there is no room for error or confusion. If one exerts effort, there is no sharpness or dullness of faculties, and the self-appearance of effortless wisdom is manifested. In this life, one actually enjoys the realm of the spontaneously accomplished great three kayas. As it says in the Tantra of Secret Sound: "Supreme siddhis are ultimate, not by striving and effort, but by meeting with whatever, liberation is certain. Therefore, Dzogchen is free from action, not arising from other efforts. By the special quality of the manifestation of dharmata, there is no sharpness or dullness of faculties. All sentient beings are Buddhas, and do not abide elsewhere." Even just empowerment and introduction, by the blessing of the truth of dharmata, breathes the nature into the nirmanakaya, and even if one passes away after practicing a little, in the bardo

As a sign of liberation, the earth shakes and rainbows swirl, and from the bones arise images, relics, and remains, which are visibly believed by all to this day. Writing and holding the volumes of the tantras of words is also said to be a benefit that surpasses others. As it says in the Heap of Jewels: "Therefore, the person who holds this secret tantra will gain power over the skill of self-awareness. Just by holding this tantra, one will become an emanation of Vajradhara. Whoever reads this tantra, the meaning of all views will arise in their mind. Whoever writes this, will enjoy the speech of all Buddhas. Therefore, it should be held as sacred." And in the Tantra of the Union of the Sun and Moon it says: "Whoever holds this tantra of mine will gain the fruit of benefiting the world, and will attain the ground of certain appearance, and will also enjoy the three bodies. Just by holding this, meditation will arise without practice, and one will know the dharmas without learning, and one will become familiar with the instructions without being shown, and one will know the tantras oneself without being told, and even the deity will appear without being generated. Therefore, this tantra, whichever yogi has great fortune, by holding this will attain accomplishment, and will undertake the deeds of the Buddhas, and will completely empty the three places of the lower realms, and will enter the path of great bliss, and having gained confidence in familiarizing oneself with self-appearance, one will find the fearlessness of floating in the expanse." And so on. Second, explaining the unsurpassed vehicle itself, there are two parts: a general demonstration of the nature of the vehicle and its specific definition. First, there are five parts: the nature of the ground, the way it abides; from that, the way sentient beings are deluded; the state of clear light during delusion; the way to practice the abiding state; and the way to accomplish the final result. First, the primordial ground, the self-born wisdom, without limitation or bias, its essence is emptiness, like the sky; its nature is clarity, like the sun and moon; its compassion is pervasive, like rays of light. These three are inseparable in essence, abiding eternally in the expanse that does not move or change, in the nature of the three bodies of wisdom from the very beginning. The essence of emptiness is the Dharmakaya(藏文:ཆོས་སྐུ,梵文天城体:धर्मकाय,梵文罗马拟音:dharmakāya,汉语字面意思:法身), the nature of clarity is the Sambhogakaya(藏文:ལོངས་སྐུ,梵文天城体:संभोगकाय,梵文罗马拟音:saṃbhogakāya,汉语字面意思:报身), and the pervasive compassion is the essence of the Nirmanakaya(藏文:སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ,梵文天城体:निर्माणकाय,梵文罗马拟音:nirmāṇakāya,汉语字面意思:化身), containing all of samsara and nirvana.
