In the 《All-pervading Tantra》, it says: The Hearers and other Lesser Vehicles do not have oral instructions, because of the view, conduct, mind-holding, cause, path, fruit, ground, time, enjoyment, yoga, self-other benefit and need, weariness, abandoning extremes, little effort, the difference of accumulating merit, with fifteen kinds of differences, the lineage-holding vehicle is particularly superior. Thus it is said. The characteristic followers' view is only emptiness free from elaboration, they do not realize that the indivisible truth is primordially abiding as the nature of deities and mantras, but it is realized by mantras. Even the conventional is non-existent, but the appearance is merely an illusion, purified as a deity, and practiced. The ultimate reality, the realm of reality and wisdom, are primordially non-dual. From the beginning, they are realized as inseparable in the state of self-naturelessness. As it is said in the 《Illusion Path Sequence》: Ultimate and conventional are inseparable, in the great equal mandala. So it is. The five aggregates are also purified as deities. As it is said in the 《Wisdom Accomplishment Tantra》: Form is Vairochana himself, feeling is Ratnasambhava, perception is Amitabha, volition is Amoghasiddhi, consciousness is Akshobhya. Thus it is said. The five elements are also purified as the five mothers, as it is said in the same tantra: The five elements are the essence of the five mothers, all the aggregates, sense bases, and elements are all pure Buddha-fields. Thus it is said. In the 《Illusion Secret Essence》, it is also said: The Tathagata knows that all dharmas are primordially enlightened. Thus it is said. In terms of conduct, in the characteristic teachings, there is only acceptance and rejection. However, in mantra, in the nature of purity, equality, and illusion, in the state of deities and palaces, such as gathering and the protector Kuntu Zangpo's conduct, as explained in the context of each mandala, it is superior by worshipping deities, being in accordance with the nature of reality, and purifying afflictions. In terms of mental samadhi, in the characteristic teachings, one must strive with great effort to hold the mind for a long time in order to cultivate shamatha and vipashyana. In mantra, by pacifying elaboration with the generation stage with signs, in the completion stage without signs, wisdom arises merely by subduing the key points of the channels and winds, therefore it is superior. In terms of cause, in the characteristic teachings, one wants to realize the ultimate truth from the conventional that precedes the generated and the generator. However, in mantra, the pure cause or the detached cause, with the power of the self-abiding wisdom

It is superior because, having been introduced to the ground and meditating, one enters into the realization of the ultimate truth in the present. In terms of the path, in the exoteric tradition, the two accumulations become alternating quiescence and movement, so the five paths are not traversed in an eon. In the esoteric tradition, it is superior because one enters the path of non-dual wisdom and thus traverses it quickly. In terms of the result, the exoteric tradition believes that it will occur later after a long time, while the esoteric tradition believes that it is spontaneously accomplished in the present, abiding in its own state, so it is superior. In terms of the ground, the exoteric tradition believes in eleven grounds with the distinction of gradual abandonment and realization. In the esoteric tradition, with the non-dual essence, the spontaneously accomplished sphere of suchness, and the two grounds of pure equality, great wisdom, clear light, and the spontaneously accomplished Dharma supreme pure ground, the great pure result, there are three. Or, on top of the causal grounds, the twelfth, the uncontaminated lotus ground, and the thirteenth, the vajra holder, etc., are superior. From the Guhyagarbha Tantra: "The distinctions of the grounds are thirteen." In terms of time, it is not accomplished by the exoteric tradition in three countless eons, etc. In the esoteric tradition, by diligence and pure samaya, it is accomplished in this life. From the Intentions Proclamation Tantra: "What is known by all the Buddhas in countless eons, the mantra practitioners in one time, attain perfect enlightenment in one lifetime." In terms of enjoyment, the exoteric tradition accomplishes it by abandoning desirable qualities. The esoteric tradition makes it a companion. From the Vajra Array: "From what is abandoned and becomes wondrous, the five aspects of desirable qualities of enjoyment, for the skillful mantra practitioner, the best of friends, those with fortune should enjoy well." In terms of yoga, the exoteric tradition meditates on non-objective samadhi, emptiness like the sky, and makes the subsequent illusory yoga the path. The esoteric tradition makes the non-dual, inconceivable yoga the path, so it is superior. In terms of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, the exoteric tradition only benefits slightly temporarily and does not accomplish much. The esoteric tradition pacifies famine by causing rain to fall, and by accomplishing yoga, causes rain of food, drink, jewels, etc. to fall, and pacifies disease and strife, etc., so that the area is auspicious, which is the benefit of others. With the inconceivable two stages, even each moment of inner realization and samadhi increases from above to above, which is the benefit of oneself.
