Furthermore, in the commentary on the Uttaratantra, it is said, "Although it is without beginning, it possesses an end." Therefore, whenever complete purity is attained, that is when the final defilements are purified, which is very clear. The third meaning is activity, which is that from the state of the Sambhogakaya, the Nirmanakaya arises for the benefit of beings, and as long as samsara exists, it will arise continuously according to their wishes. As it is said in the Abhisamayalankara, "Likewise, as long as samsara exists, activity is desired to be continuous." And as it is said in the Uttaratantra, "Due to the force of others arising with renunciation, seeing self and sentient beings equally, and because activity is not fully accomplished, activity will not cease as long as samsara exists." It is like that. How is it? Knowing the faculties of beings, and what to use to subdue them, the methods of subduing, and teaching at the appropriate time, without missing these, thereby accomplishing benefit. As it is said in the Uttaratantra, "The realm of those to be subdued and the means of subduing, the activity of those to be subdued by the realm of those to be subdued, the realm of that and going in time, the pervasive lord is always spontaneously accomplished." It is like that. How is it spontaneously accomplished? It should be understood with nine similes. As it is said in the Uttaratantra, "Whoever is like Indra's drum and clouds, Brahma like the sun, precious like the wish-fulfilling jewel king, sound, reflection, like space, like earth, until the end of existence, effortlessly doing the benefit of others, the yoga family, precious, the lord of gods appearing and teaching, the well-teaching one is like the drum of the gods. The pervasive lord's wisdom and great compassion are like a cloud gathering, pervading limitless beings up to the peak of existence. Like Brahma, without moving from the stainless abode, showing various kinds of emanations. Like the sun, the light of wisdom shining forth, the pure precious mind like the wish-fulfilling jewel. The speech of the Buddhas is, like a rock, without letters. The body is like space, pervasive, formless, and eternal. Like the earth, the white beings, of all the medicines of Dharma, the basis of all forms, is the earth of the Buddhas." It is like that. Therefore, the spontaneously accomplished activity also, wherever there is fortune in the realm of beings, appears simultaneously, like the sun. As it is said in the Uttaratantra, "Because those to be subdued are pure, in all the vessels of water, the image of the Sugata's sun, can be measured.

Appearances arise suddenly and without cause. It is said. That is, even in following the minds of those to be tamed, it is like this: Just as on a pure beryl ground, the reflection of the body of the lord of gods appears, so too, on the pure ground of sentient beings' minds, the reflection of the body of the Powerful Sage appears. The ability for reflections to appear in beings is without impurity, and it enters by the power of the mind's own impurity entering intensely. It is said. Thus, the activities of appearances, such as the Buddha teaching the Dharma, are also appearances due to the karma of each individual to be tamed. As it says in that very text: Just as among the gods in the heavens, the sound of drums arises from their own karma, so too, in this world, the Dharma of the Powerful Sage, which is spoken, arises from one's own karma. It is said. For example, just as one cannot hear a sound even if there is a sound image because one has no ears, similarly, one will not see the Buddha and hear the Dharma unless one has accumulated the karma to do so. As it says in that very text: Just as without ears, one does not experience subtle sounds, and even in the ears of all the gods, it does not enter the ear canal, so too, the subtle and supreme Dharma, the sphere of activity of subtle wisdom, becomes the path of hearing for some minds that are free from afflictions. It is said. In short, by means of the three kinds of miracles, until samsara is not empty, they accomplish the benefit and lead beings to the path of peace. The three miracles are explained in the commentary on the Uttaratantra: The miracle of the body, which pervades all the realms of the ten directions, is taught as the miracle of magical power. Knowing the categories of the mind and realizing the profound behavior of sentient beings' minds is the miracle of complete expression. Expressing the melody with speech, starting from the path of definite emergence, teaching and subsequently indicating it, is said to be the miracle of subsequent instruction. Fourth, among the qualities of the path of no more learning, there are three. The quality of abandonment is the abandonment of all obscurations, both afflictive and cognitive, together with their habitual tendencies. As it says in the Vajrasekhara: Afflictions and what arises from them, the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, whatever is contrary to the Dharma, are destroyed. Here today, it is said to be the Bhagavan. It is said. And as it says in the Sutra Ornament: The Sage is definitely liberated from all obscurations. It is said. The quality of realization is the direct and accurate perception of all dharmas as they are.
