It shows the pure and increasing ground. From that, it is the nature of depletion. Thus it is said. If these differences are examined in detail, they are inconceivable. To speak briefly, in summary, because the actual meaning of awareness is seen and observed, delusion reverses in an instant. Because it remains in mental judgment, it takes delusion as a path and seeks with the fruit of non-delusion. The difference is great, and those with the eye of wisdom should realize this. Because this Dharma has such a key point, it is called the supreme, the unsurpassed. Second, showing the special Tögal itself, there are three: generally showing the three key points of the Dharma wheel of reality, specifically explaining the wheel of clear light of day and night, and extensively showing the wheel of wisdom of the expanse of intention. The first has four: establishing the three key points of the body, viewing the three key points of the door, guiding the three key points of space, and appearing the three key points of the object. The first is: whichever of the three postures of the body is adopted, it is necessary to keep the abdomen relaxed so that the channels and winds remain in a comfortable state. If deliberately tightened, the winds and so on will be reversed and scattered, causing the channels to be twisted or too tight. In this regard, the viewing posture and the key point of the wind are extremely slow, and the special Dharma of drawing back from the mouth is a very important key point. Moreover, breathing in and out through the nose is a common practice, that is, filling the four chakras and generating Samadhi that clarifies the mind. According to that practice, the four obstacles of wind reversal, scattering, stagnation, and dullness arise, and false appearances do not arise. Here, the increase of purifying the wind is not taken as a path. Because the mind is filled with the four chakras, all thoughts arise and cease, but they can never be completely stopped. Therefore, the karma wind naturally stops and is released from the mouth. It enters the subtle breath from the nose, and then enters the channels of all four chakras. Because it is the horse that moves the various thoughts, it is blocked here. It is connected to the mouth and lungs, and the channels of the lungs are as thin as straws, and the horse of the mind within them naturally stops and is released. Therefore, the breath is slowly drawn out of the mouth and held for as long as possible. In this way, the horse and the person separate, and the person dissolves into the awareness in the heart, so the person

This is the key to naturally accomplishing conceptual meditation. Sometimes, accompanied by a whooshing sound of wind, it is forcefully emitted, eliminating obstacles of wind accumulation, unpleasant moods, the agitation of afflictive thoughts, and chest pains. At those times, forcefully emitting is the key of keys. Moreover, even if one meditates without understanding this key of wind, the increase of appearances and the occurrence of signs and measures will never happen. Second, the three keys of the door of gazing are: whichever of the three ways of gazing is adopted, it should not be controlled with effort, but the body should be relaxed and made natural. The key is to gaze with the eyes not moving, in a fixed manner. As it says in the *Prasaṅgika*: "The key is that the distant gaze does not move." At this time, combine it with the three ways of gazing. Third, the three keys of guiding the expanse are: when the eyes slowly guide the appearance of the expanse from the side, above, and below, the key is to keep the eyes still, the thoughts unchanged, and to place awareness distinctly and emptily. As it says in that very text: "The key of the expanse is guiding." And in the *Tsal Dzog*: "In the sky of dharmata, mindfulness, and wakefulness, a golden garuda soars, appearing as five clusters. In the state free from grasping, attachment, and conceptual extremes, it utters 'uh.' In the sky of self-appearance, without partiality, a clear and empty garuda soars, free from elaboration. In the state without grasping at appearances, it utters 'uh.' In the sky free from signs and elaboration, a dharmakaya garuda soars, free from grasper and grasped. In the state of dharmata, self-appearance, and bindu, it utters 'uh.'" Fourth, the key is that by focusing on the external object of the sky clearing of clouds, awareness becomes clear and bright, and the increase of appearances is rapid. By focusing on the internal object of the lamp of the expanse, the mother and child of luminosity are connected. By focusing on the secret object of awareness's self-clarity, the view of original purity and the exhaustion of phenomena is clear in its own place. As it says in the *Rang Shar*: "In the mandala of the empty sky, the four kinds of uncreated lamps are clear with the meaning of non-cessation. The lamp of awareness's expanse is, in the center of the empty sky, the nature of the expanse is a body of light, appearing uninterruptedly and without cessation. The body of mind possessing the five wisdoms appears in the manner of a continuous string. That is also going and coming, moving and flickering. If awareness is put into the lamp of awareness's expanse and awareness does not move, then it is said to be the best of unchanging realization. Wisdom"
