Furthermore, it is like this: a palace made of precious crystal, with four doors, possessing precious stables, all the ground also made of precious crystal, extremely pleasing, delightful to behold, with stairs and windows, with four large skylights in the four directions. When the sun rises from the skylights, it strikes the precious crystal, and inside, the light of five colors shines brightly during the day. Around that palace, there is a pond with water possessing eight qualities. Those afflicted by illness, when they drink that water, their illnesses will be cured. Around that, there are eight lakes, and within those lakes, there are various beautiful bird songs. It is like this: the king of birds, the golden goose, the bluebird, the Kati bird, the parrot that understands human speech, the cuckoo, the Shangshang bird, the mountain partridge, and so on. There are eighty thousand kinds of birds with beautiful songs. Delightful birds like this: the Kangka bird, the Spaba bird, the Zermo bird, the heavenly bird with the sound of bells, the Kritzitipa bird in the shape of a golden vajra, and so on. Green like jade, white like a conch shell, red like coral, green like an Indranila jewel, and so on. There are countless delightful and melodious birds. Around that, there is an iron fence made of seven precious substances. In the center of those, there is a throne made of seven precious substances, with a seat for teaching the Dharma. There, the emanation body called Vajrasattva, in the evening, teaches the Dharma of the causal vehicle to the retinue. At midnight, he teaches the Dharma of the outer tantras. At dawn, he teaches the Dharma of the inner tantras. At noon, he teaches the Dharma of the Great Perfection, the unsurpassed fruit. Thus, there are four Dharma sessions each day. The Bodhisattvas who dwell there are all those who are bound by only one more lifetime. They can also live for five hundred and fifty years. In that pure land, food and drink are satisfied merely by remembering them in the mind. There, there is supreme bliss because there is no illness, and if illness does occur, drinking the water with eight qualities will cure it. Various kinds of flowers are offered in great abundance to that emanation body.

Tago. In the four corners of that palace, there are four stupas made of pearls. Between these four stupas, there are ropes connected in a net-like fashion with tinkling bells. When the ropes are moved by the wind, the bells produce various pleasing sounds. In the four directions, there are four banners of various silks, and when they are moved by the wind, they emit various fragrant scents. That palace is located five hundred yojanas east of here. The Bodhisattvas born there also share the same enjoyment as the gods of the Thirty-Three (Trayastriṃśa). The pure land of the Nirmanakaya in the eastern direction is also the same. From here to the south, in the glorious pure land of the Nirmanakaya, there is also a square house made of precious gold, with eaves, four doors with horse ramps, stupas in the four corners, banners on the four sides, star windows in the four directions, seven lakes with birds, water with eight qualities, and an iron fence. The throne and Dharma are also described as above. Those Bodhisattvas are all those who are bound by one lifetime. The pure land of the Nirmanakaya Ratnasambhava has such qualities. From here to the west, in the lotus-adorned pure land, there is the Nirmanakaya Amitābha, and it also has the same qualities as above. From here to the northern world, there is a world called Precious Arrangement, and there also is the pure land of the Nirmanakaya Amoghasiddhi, which has such qualities of a palace: there is a square house made of precious Indranila, and there are four large star windows in the four directions, and when the sun rises, the green light fills it. All the ground is also made of Indranila. Outside of that, there is water with eight qualities, and that water is comfortable to touch and can cure all diseases when drunk. Outside of that, there are seven lakes, in which dwell various beautiful bird songs, such as: the king of birds, the golden goose, the bluebird, the Katari bird, the peacock, and the parrot that knows human speech.
