Abiding in greatness. Thus it is said. There are three realms: the Dharmakaya realm is primordially pure, beyond thought; the Sambhogakaya realm is the five bodies manifesting as five wisdoms; the Nirmanakaya realm is the various beings to be tamed appearing as the environment and its inhabitants, vast as the sky. They will be explained in detail when elaborating. The beings to be tamed are: self-nature completely pure is the Dharmakaya's beings to be tamed, which are beyond awareness and fabrication. The Sambhogakaya's beings to be tamed are the self-appearing main and retinue mandala. The Nirmanakaya's beings to be tamed are the six realms in their own places. These also possess the nature of five perfections each. As it is said in the Jewel Heap Sutra: By clinging to the self-purified Dharmakaya, In the uncontrived self-purified palace, To the inner retinue inseparable from it, With the speech of no characteristics, The uncontrived dharmas, Unabiding, self-exhausted, arise from the mind. Without speaking, in non-speaking, It is shown in the state of great equanimity. By the self-clear pure Sambhogakaya, In the palace of five pure lights, With the uncontrived great bliss speech, To the retinues of the five Buddha families, The unreal pure dharmas, Five wisdoms complete, arise from the mind, The pure rays spread on the tongue. Also in the self-arisen six syllables, Without speaking, the great self-arisen is shown. By the Nirmanakaya without attachment, In the Dharma-arising self-place of the beings to be tamed, To the fortunate ones awakened from the six realms, With the speech of contrived words, All the dharmas according to the faculties, Memory self-clear, from the mind, According to the faculties, unbidden, spread on the tongue, Shown as countless vehicles of Dharma. Thus it is said. The activity is: oneself perfecting the Dharmakaya, from the state of not moving from the Dharmadhatu, for the sake of others manifesting the Rupakaya, turning the fate of beings upwards, until the end of samsara, accomplishing the two benefits spontaneously. The so-called activity is turning the wheel of Dharma, as it is said in the tantra itself: One's own self-arisen self-manifestation, In the self-sound of the emptiness of Dharmata, From the beginning, the wheel of Dharma is turned. Thus it is said. For the sake of others, naturally arising without moving from the Dharmadhatu, like the moon in water. As it is said in the Avatamsaka Sutra: Just as when the moon appears, The countless immeasurable images, Appear in vessels of water, Yet the moon does not become two moons. Likewise, the unattached, wise ones, In the Buddhafields

Although all phenomena appear in it, it is neither gone nor come. Thus it is said. The Uttaratantra states: Although not moving from the Dharmakaya, through various natures of emanation, manifesting birth, descending from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in crafts, enjoying the company of consorts, practicing renunciation and asceticism, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the hordes of demons and perfecting, the wheel of Dharma of Bodhi, constantly showing Nirvana, in all impure realms, showing existence for as long as it lasts. Thus it is said. The Abhisamayalankara states: Thus, as long as there is existence, this activity is considered to be continuous. Thus it is said. The measure of confidence is that having perfected the qualities of abandonment and realization, one attains the three bodies of the Buddha, just as one attains the measure of confidence of a wish-fulfilling jewel when desires arise. That is, the confidence of the Dharmakaya, which is immovable and free from elaboration; the confidence of the Sambhogakaya, which is self-luminous and complete with marks and signs; and the confidence of the Nirmanakaya, which spontaneously accomplishes the two benefits. That which is non-conceptual and complete in meaning is unchanging, and abides eternally and spontaneously accomplished in the realm of the Dharmakaya. The Prasangika states: Immovable and clear, the appearance of awareness and knowledge, equal and without partiality. Thus it is said. The Bodhisattvacharyavatara also states: The peaceful body appears like a wish-fulfilling tree, non-conceptual like a wish-fulfilling jewel, contemplating the world for the sake of benefiting beings until liberation. This is free from elaboration and yet apparent. Thus it is said. There are two divisions: a general division of the nature of the three bodies, and a specific division of the nature of various emanations. The first is that each of the three bodies is divided into five aspects of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, thus determining fifteen categories of Dharma. The Prasangika states: The Dharmakaya is body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. The body is emptiness and clarity, and the nature of being without characteristics. Speech is free from sound, words, and names, free from speaking and talking. Mind is without thought and movement, transcending scattering and deliberation. Qualities have no coming or going, the realm and wisdom pervade,
