Fourth, crossing the hands is the key to the fusion of wisdom and space. Straightening the neck is the key to propelling the four lamps to their own ground. The merits are as stated in the Golden Garuda: "Purifying the aggregates of the body, is the posture of the Nirmanakaya Buddha. Whoever knows this, should follow this key point, and from this, liberation and enlightenment will be attained." That is to say, when the body's elements are predominantly cold, aligning with the Nirmanakaya brings balance between cold and heat; when predominantly hot, aligning with the Dharmakaya; when balanced, one should align with the elephant. The three immovabilities of the way of looking that arises are: by looking in the manner of the Nirmanakaya, awareness enjoys the appearance of compassion. Moreover, by relying on the slowness of the eyes, it is impossible to be separated from samadhi. By lowering the mind slightly, one abides in the view that is free from the conceptuality of emptiness. By looking equally, it is impossible to be controlled by afflictions. By looking in the manner of the Sambhogakaya, awareness manifestly sees the appearance of its own nature, that is, without twisting the body, looking equally with both eyes sideways to the left and right, illusory appearances cease at once. With the right sideways glance, awareness self-appears; with the left sideways glance, the appearance of the dharmadhatu self-arises. By pressing down the mind slightly, the continuous flow of the lineage is cut off. By looking in the manner of the Dharmakaya, one sees the essence of awareness, that is, with both eyes equal, slightly turning upwards, one cuts off the place of birth of the three lower realms. By contracting between the eyebrows, awareness has no place to stray. By looking at the expanse of the sky, the dharmadhatu and awareness are inseparable. For all these, it is crucial not to strain the eyes too much, but to relax the body and mind. The three immovabilities of these contractions are: by contracting the limbs of the body, the wheel of illusion of the six realms is continuously cut off. By contracting the joints of the fingers, the activity of the body's fondness for movement is destroyed. Sometimes, when the pulse of the neck throbs, the light naturally appears in its own way. By keeping the contraction of the body in place, the three realms are made nameless. Second, the three immovabilities of speech are: by not mixing speech with others, the ordinary speech of the six realms is made empty. By cutting off the coming and going of words, the self-arisen wisdom of words is made to arise. By stopping all one's own expressions, all dharmas abide in the state of being inexpressible. Before these, if untrained speech speaks whatever comes to mind like a madman in an unfamiliar place,

When all past and future events are brought up and spoken about, one becomes exhausted. If there is no desire to say anything, then speech should remain in a state of non-speaking. Sometimes, even if there is no desire to speak, to avoid exhaustion in empty places or where there is no one, one should speak only a little and thus learn the state of not speaking. After that, abandoning conversations with others and only doing things like reciting sutras and mantras is what needs to be stabilized. Furthermore, even these should be stopped, and practicing "la zla ba" (Tibetan: ལ་བཟླ་བ, Sanskrit Devanagari: lā bzla ba, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: la bzla ba, literal Chinese meaning: repeated practice) without saying anything is like what is said in the Secret Sound Tantra: "Speech needs to be learned, abide, la zla ba, and rely upon." Third, the three immovabilities of the mind are: not separating from the object of focus, constantly abiding in the intention of the Buddha; placing awareness within the realm of reality, there is no distortion of the true nature of things; constantly not separating from that very state, it is certain that the four appearances reach their limit. That is because movement produces thoughts, and thoughts accumulate the karma of samsara. Therefore, suppressing the essential point of the root of movement—the channels and winds—is the crucial key to cutting off the stream of thoughts. Second, measuring with the three abidings has three aspects: using the three abidings of the body to be free from actions, using the three abidings of the wind to measure non-arising, and using the three abidings of appearance to have faith in non-reversal. The first three are: the three abidings of the body, not abiding in the activities of the body, so the illusion of samsara will not increase; stopping the extension and contraction of the limbs, the cycle of illusion will be cut off; placing actions on the ground and abiding effortlessly, one will be free from the ripening of accumulated karma. The three abidings of the wind are: the wind not going out but abiding, so there is no place to abide due to different conditions of appearance; the wind not filling inward but abiding, so there is no basis for different thoughts; the wind not going in and out but abiding, so the basis for clinging to samsara and nirvana is emptied. The three abidings of appearance are: the light not flickering but abiding, so one can recognize that one will not revert to the three realms; awareness not flickering but abiding, so the edge of karma and ripening will be exhausted; the body not trembling but abiding, so all the leaks of the body will naturally be exhausted. At these times, signs will appear on the body and speech, and measurements can be taken through dreams. The first situation is that when seeing the appearance of the manifest nature of reality, the body is like being placed in a turtle shell or a wooden basin, which is due to the slow movement of the body's channels.
