Clairvoyance is: An ordinary, naturally pure mind has power over ten samadhis. A completely pure mind has power over a hundred. An extremely pure mind has power over a thousand. A supremely pure mind has power over ten thousand. A mind liberated from the limits of form can transform the power of the four elements individually. A completely pure mind can move sentient beings to compatible places. An extremely pure mind can transform the places of the six realms. A supremely pure mind can seize the magical power of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Thus, the six faculties: six eyes, three ears, two noses, two tongues, two bodies, and two minds, seventeen in total, each combined with four dharma categories, result in sixty-eight clairvoyances of the faculties, which, when condensed, are contained within the six roots. Now, if it is said that at this time, it is unreasonable for their clairvoyances to arise without being separate from the three of body, speech, and mind, and without inherent existence, then it is only reasonable with pure faculties that possess materiality. Previously, the three doors, like clouds, obscured the knowledge that is like a mandala of the sun, so the qualities such as clairvoyance are seen as existing in the form of rays of light. At this time, just as the sun becomes clear when the clouds dissipate, the three doors dissipate, and each of their obscuring parts is purified. Therefore, the clairvoyance of each faculty is named with the name of impurity as the cause of purity in the result. That is, if it is not pure, it will not appear. From the aspect of establishing this relationship, it can also be said to be the qualities of the pure result or the result of separation of the three doors. This point is very important, so it is explained clearly. Then, the six clairvoyances that the mind can accomplish are: the vision of the mind that purifies previous attachments is completely pure; the vision that exhausts later arising delusions is completely pure; the vision that perfects the wisdom of those to be tamed is pure; the vision that transforms the invisible into the path is pure; the vision that completely perfects all beings is pure; and the clairvoyance of the vision of the mind that is liberated from inverted faculties is completely pure. Among these, the vision of the mind that completely purifies previous attachments, being pure, remembers hundreds of thousands of past lives; being completely pure, remembers a thousand; being extremely pure, remembers a hundred thousand; being supremely pure, remembers seventy-two kotis of lives at once, like placing a fresh amalaka fruit in the palm of one's hand. Later arising delusions

The exhaustion of vision is purified, knowing the characteristics of the body when previously taking birth; extremely purified, knowing speech; very purified, knowing mind; most purified, simultaneously seeing and knowing the characteristics of all three. The vision of the mind of the perfectly enlightened, purified, sees the bodies of hundreds of thousands of births of other sentient beings; extremely purified, knowing speech; very purified, knowing mind; most purified, simultaneously seeing the characteristics of all three. The vision of the mind that has transformed the invisible into the path knows the number of atoms in the universe of the three thousand great thousands at once; extremely purified, knowing the number of how the consciousness of those sentient beings dwelling in them changes at once; very purified, knowing the nature of containers and contents; most purified, seeing the meaning of the nature of emptiness. The vision of the mind that perfects all beings, purified, knows the number of how much wind has changed in the amount of one's own body taken in the past at once; extremely purified, knowing the number of how much non-virtuous mind has changed at once; very purified, seeing the number of virtuous deeds; most purified, simultaneously seeing the number of both virtuous and non-virtuous deeds. The vision of the mind liberated from perverted faculties sees the characteristics of the time and place of one's own previous births; extremely purified, seeing the previous birth places of others; very purified, knowing the objects of one's own body, speech, and mind; most purified, simultaneously seeing how the previous birth places of oneself and others and the conduct of body, speech, and mind were done. Thus, dividing each of the six into four, they abide in twenty-four categories of Dharma. Then, the six kinds of direct perception that are empowered by wisdom are: the direct perception of wisdom that is pure from vision, free from intellect, words, conception, investigation, birth, and characteristics. First, free from intellect, one sees the characteristics of one's own mind all at once; extremely purified, seeing others; very purified, seeing both oneself and others; most purified, seeing the remainder without exception. The vision of wisdom free from words,
