Thus it is said. Here, regarding the direct pointing out of naked awareness as an object of recognition, there are two methods. The pointing out without relying on the key points is: not expanding outwards, not grasping inwards, not placing in the middle, not modifying with the intellect, the uninterrupted, open, and spacious awareness that is not swayed by thoughts, which exists at all times. When the master and disciple are briefly in a relaxed state, that expectation of naked appearance is pointed out through the blessing, so that the spaciousness is seen nakedly. That state is the key to generating certainty in the Dharmakaya and maintaining it in a state of non-meditation and non-distraction. There are six types of pointing out that rely on key points. Pointing out by grasping the mind is: the body key point is the lotus posture, the breath key point is slow, the eyes are wide open, and when the mind is placed without conceptualization, the clarity and abiding of the clear and bright state are experiences, so they should be separated. That aspect of awareness and nakedness is pointed out as the Dharmakaya. Pointing out by abiding in the mind is: the mind is not grasped, but when it naturally abides in its own place, the abiding aspect is let go, and the aspect of awareness and clarity is pointed out as the Dharmakaya. Pointing out by cutting the root is: when the mind is chased inwards, and after investigating where it comes from and where it abides, nothing is found and it becomes naked and spacious, that state of not thinking anything is let go, and the aspect of awareness, nakedness, and transcendence of names and concepts is pointed out as the Dharmakaya. Pointing out by chasing after objects is: when the mind runs to an object, the object is broken down into pieces, etc., and the mind is chased to see where it abides. As a result, the object disappears and the mind disappears, and when one abides in an inexpressible state of emptiness and clarity, that state of abiding without any taking or leaving is let go, and the aspect of awareness, nakedness, and spaciousness is pointed out as the Dharmakaya. Pointing out from between the object and awareness is: when awareness arises on an object, after abiding relaxedly, without thinking outwards about the object and without thinking inwards about the mind, when one becomes empty and clear without interruption, that state of empty abiding is let go, and the awareness of luminosity, clarity, and spaciousness is pointed out as the Dharmakaya. Pointing out by abandoning into distraction is: briefly abiding in an ordinary state, talking, etc., allowing awareness to be in a distracted state. When one says, "Ha sa ra ki, what are you saying?" and a state of awareness arises that is blank and clear, without any concept of what is being said, that state of blank abiding is let go, and the Dharmakaya of awareness, clarity, and naked appearance is pointed out. Or, to someone who is walking, say, "Stop here."

Or, saying "go," and when it has gone to the end, come back. When coming back, leave that non-scattered awareness in place, and let the naked awareness go forth, that is the introduction to the Dharmakaya. In short, whether using the methods of channels, winds, and bindus, or any other method, whatever methods of arising and abiding of the mind are done, when awareness, like a clear crystal ball, emerges from the naked state of non-thought, and there is no view, meditation, or antidote, that is the introduction to the great thorough emptiness of the Dharmakaya. Here, it is necessary to distinguish between clarity and dullness. Clarity and dullness are the state of abiding, while the Dharmakaya is the separation of clear awareness from the state of abiding. Therefore, do not confuse it with appearance-emptiness, clear bliss, non-conceptuality, etc., but let awareness appear nakedly. Therefore, there is a difference between thorough emptiness and non-thorough emptiness, awareness and the state of abiding, so there is no confusion. These key points are also mentioned in the Madhyamaka: The mind is the grasped and the abiding, cutting off the root, chasing after things, searching between the object and awareness, these are all lost in distraction. Thus it is said. The unadorned, naked, thorough emptiness of awareness is what is repeated here. Its nature is free from the three of arising, abiding, and ceasing, it is the great unspeakable, unthinkable, the great Dharma-exhausted, name-extinguished, transcending good and evil, merit and fault, the primordial original purity. Recognize it in this way, not as an empty void. The way of introduction is different from others. Not from the Dharma of suchness, which is not established in Madhyamaka, etc., focus on one universal Dharma of Dharma-nature, and measure non-arising, non-ceasing, etc. From the ordinary state of mind, measure all appearances and awareness as never having existed, and never having existed, etc. This is the fault of universal dispersion and loss of nature, a great mistake. For this, any method can be used to represent it, but when the nature appears nakedly in the way of thorough emptiness, it will merge into the oneness of non-elaboration, because it is determined without error and obscuration, so there is no confusion in the nature, but it is constantly repeated in Dharma-exhausted, name-extinguished. The yogi who realizes in this way abides in the yoga of continuous realization like a river, therefore it is shown that samsara becomes enlightened in namelessness, like a bird that grows wings from an egg, freed from bondage and abiding in the expanse of the sky, subduing the nagas, cutting off the cliff with powerful force, the fortunate one who possesses the yogi of truly realizing the highest vehicle Vajra Essence, subduing the inferior vehicle.
