Because it is an object, it is reversed. Because it is clarity, emptiness is reversed. Because it is complete from the beginning, the generation stage is reversed. Because there is no effort, behavior is reversed. Because it is left without searching, meditation is reversed. Because it is self-liberation, appearance is reversed. Because it appears manifestly, view is reversed. Because there are no sounds or words, terminology is reversed. Because it has never existed, attachment is reversed. Because it has never disappeared, dependence on others is reversed. Because it cannot be grasped, conceptualization is reversed. Because it is unique, numerical limits are reversed. Thus it is said. In the "Six Spaces" it says: In the mind-essence that appears as the six aggregates, The assemblies of thoughts dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears as sound and words, The terms and names dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears coarsely, The conditions of the four elements dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears as grasping and being grasped, The self-grasping of bondage dissolves in its own place. In the mind-essence that appears as existence, The objects of phenomena dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears as non-existence, The emptinesses dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence of existence and non-existence, The extremes of established views dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears as Dharma, Its own characteristics dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears as non-Dharma, The confusions dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that appears as an antidote, The impurities dissolve in their own place. In the mind-essence that is naturally established, The great ground dissolves in its own place. Thus, the appearances of realization arising from within, the unattached appearances, are further shown: Free from the notions of enemy and friend, attachment and hatred, near and far, Day and night are indistinguishable, equal in a single sweep. The cycle of clinging to targets and characteristics is purified. Because it does not conceptualize, it is called the nature of self-born wisdom. It has transcended the confines of acceptance and rejection, abandonment and cultivation. If one realizes in this way, it is non-dual wisdom, It goes to the intention of the self-born Samantabhadra, It goes to the place of no return, the place of exhaustion. At this time, realization merges with day and night, and a vast environment arises: Without disliking enemies, without clinging to distance, the night's conceptual thoughts are purified into the nature of reality; without being attached to friends, without clinging to closeness, the day's conceptual thoughts are purified into space. Because the cycle of grasping and being grasped, day and night, is purified, although awareness remains in the state of Dharmakaya, the obscurations of knowledge are naturally liberated because it is free from the mind that clings to the supreme antidote. Because there is no partiality of accepting and rejecting enemies and friends, the obscurations of afflictions are purified into self-liberation. This is going to the intention of the self-born Samantabhadra.

E! This is called reaching the ground of the exhaustion of Dharma. In the system of Dzogchen, both Trekchö and Tögal, also use the two, appearance and emptiness, as the measure of the path. By practicing Tögal, the appearance of luminosity is exhausted first, like the sky becoming free from clouds, at that time the dharmata of appearance is exhausted. At that time, all inner afflictions and coarse objects are exhausted, and one reaches the signs and standards of attaining Buddhahood in this life. Those who realize Trekchö definitively, their rigpa, original purity, emerges nakedly, and its power purifies all clinging and thoughts of samsara and nirvana, good and bad. No matter how one thinks, afflictions and conceptual thoughts are liberated from the root and awakened, and there is no birth. This is called the exhaustion of the dharmata of emptiness. Just as at dawn when the sun rises, darkness cannot be found by searching. Grasping and the grasped are liberated from the root, and bondage is liberated and awakened. Having gone to the ground of the exhaustion of Dharma, original purity, in this life, one is called a yogi of liberation from the bonds of samsara and nirvana. In the presence of the great lord of yoga, Dhegewajra, he said: "The yoga of liberation is like the sunrise at dawn, it is the appearance of the Dharmakaya, emaho!" Just as it was said. At this time, abiding in the intention of all-pervading completeness, vastness, and openness, all afflictions are manifestly liberated into dharmata. Although to others it seems like affliction, and what is thought in the mind and spoken in words appears coarse to the senses, for that yogi, like ashes blown away, leaving no trace in the sky, he is not stained by faults and impurities, and having transcended the extremes of good and evil, there is no bondage or liberation. As it says in the Garland of Pearls: "Because it pervades all, the arising of others ceases. Because it is self-arisen, darkness is cleared. Because it is the essence, it pervades the Dharmakaya. Because it appears clearly, it increases the Sambhogakaya. When mother and child meet, the Nirmanakaya arises. Because it can be realized, it becomes the means. Because it is beyond thought, thoughts are cleared. Because it is neither permanent nor nihilistic, the tenets are complete. Because it is condensed into essence, awareness is clear." And as it says in the Six Spaces: "In the mind itself of the great first fall, appearances are directly purified in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be true, false words are purified in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be untrue, taking what is not given is purified in its own place. In the mind itself of true and untrue, practicing unchastity is purified in its own place. In the mind itself without immorality, idle talk
