Eighth, Commentary on the Chapter Showing the Non-Duality of Bodhicitta. Eighth, Commentary on the Chapter Showing the Non-Duality of Bodhicitta. Therefore, in order to show that the spontaneously perfect purity is also non-dual in nature, it arises from a single realm, and from the arising itself, it indicates that the self-nature is non-dual: All is one realm, in self-born wisdom, non-duality is the way of being of the essence, dualistic appearance is unceasing, arising as a play from the potency, appearance is labeled non-dual Bodhicitta. Just as whatever images appear on the surface of a single mirror are non-dual with the mirror, so all phenomena arise within the state of awareness and are therefore non-dual with awareness. Just as the various dreams that arise within a single sleep are no different from sleep, samsara and nirvana are no different from the play of awareness. Just as all the large and small waves that arise from a single river are no different from the river, all phenomena appear to arise from a state of nothingness, and that nothingness is merely a clear appearance, non-dual with the self-nature awareness of the emptiness of reality, and their emptiness. Based on these three reasons, it is determined that all phenomena are non-dual. All phenomena are equal in being unestablished, equal in being unceasing, equal in being able to perform their respective functions merely as appearances in the face of awareness, and equal in appearing merely as arising from conditions and interdependence. Depending on these four aspects, one should also realize the great equality of non-duality. As it is said in the Noble King of Samadhi Sutra: "Whatever is born from conditions is therefore unborn, it has no nature of birth, whatever depends on conditions is said to be empty." Just as the arising of samsara and nirvana as the potency appearance of awareness cannot possibly have two essences, the appearance of a dream and the person who sees it, although appearing as two, are actually non-dual, because they arise merely from a single sleep, a single time, a single non-existence, and a single clear appearance, and are not established in reality. As it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Like a dream and the one who sees it, are not seen as two aspects, so the nature of all phenomena, is realized in a single instant." Like this.

All appearances as phenomena are also non-existent, appearing as clarity. One's own knowledge, awareness, and body, etc., are also non-existent, appearing as clarity. However they may appear, they only appear as non-existent. Therefore, there is not even a particle of inherently existing phenomena of one or many. Although all phenomena of existence, samsara, and nirvana appear in the face of awareness, know that they are non-dual. These phenomena arising in the face of awareness also arise from the state of the expanse. They arise from awareness itself, and are merely labeled as manifestations of awareness. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: Earth, water, fire, wind, and space, the great elements arise from it. Gods, non-gods, and humans, hell-beings, animals, and hungry ghosts, arise truly from the great one. Desire, hatred, and ignorance, pride, jealousy, and so on, arise as manifestations from it. Ignorance, mind, and thoughts, aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and the collections of consciousness, the five senses, and so on, arise. Sound, smell, taste, touch, and desirable qualities, are adorned by it. Life, Yama, the powerless, and so on, arise as its power and play. The basis of all, the appropriation, flesh, blood, and pus, bones, skin, and hair, the accumulated bodies arise from it. Body, speech, and mind, and the various things that arise from the mind, all arise from my face. Men, women, horses, and cattle, all forms arise from it. Eating, sleeping, and sitting, all kinds of actions arise from it. And as it is said in the All-Creating King: Alas! Great Bodhisattva, realize my nature! I am the nature of Bodhicitta, Bodhicitta is the All-Creating King. The nature of the All-Creating King is body, speech, and mind. There is nothing that is not done by body, speech, and mind. The Buddhas of the three times are made by body, speech, and mind. The body, speech, and mind of sentient beings of the three realms are also made by my body, speech, and mind, the All-Creating One. All that is included in existence and non-existence, the container and its contents, in the Dharma nature that is as it is, unmade, is made by my body, speech, and mind, the All-Creating One. Thus it is. At this time, one should abandon the desires that are mixed with the delusion of contradictory terms, and those who are not adorned with pure hearing and thinking.
