To condense the essence of all meanings into one is this: As long as one clings to the distinctions of "this" and "that," being situated in duality, it becomes the source of confusion for oneself and others. When there is no differentiation of "this," no partiality, everything is equal, and there is no object of focus, then it is said to be the realization of non-duality, as Vajrasattva stated. The measure of whether one has realized the meaning of the Dharmakaya of wisdom lies in whether there is clinging in wisdom or not. Just as the purity of the sky is distinguished by the presence or absence of clouds and moisture. Similarly, if a yogi clings to his own view, meditation, and so on, or clings to the distinctions of what should be abandoned and what should be adopted, then it is certain that there is no realization of non-duality in his being, because he has not separated from clinging to duality and self-characteristics. The glorious protector who has attained accomplishment in the meaning of suchness, the venerable master Dharma King Kumaraja, said, "Whether one has realized the nature of reality or not can be known by whether one is free from clinging or not." Similarly, in the Dohas, it is said, "Even the prick of a sesame seed husk only creates suffering." For those who do not cling to acceptance and rejection, do not fall into biased extremes, are skilled in distinguishing Dharma from non-Dharma, but have no clinging whatsoever to the tenets, views, meditation, conduct, and results of themselves and others, Vajrasattva calls them yogis of the Great Perfection of inherent nature. As it is said in the Jeweled Array, "Great emptiness is the Dharmakaya, it cannot be represented by symbols and objects, self-awareness without cause and condition, transcends the limits of emptiness and non-emptiness." And in the Refutation, it is said, "When abandoning clinging to the sacred meaning, when all senses are liberated simultaneously, with the key point of seeing directly, destroying one's own tenets, without clinging to anything, truly tasting the flavor of Dharmata, without reliance on the three realms, like space dissolving into space, the supreme yoga is also like that." In the Treasury of the Dharmadhatu, the non-duality of Bodhicitta is taught, this is the commentary on the eighth chapter. The eighth chapter, the commentary on the teachings of the non-duality of Bodhicitta.
