This should be done. There are three refutations to it: refuting the object, the practice, and the result. There are three refutations to the object: refuting the lineage, the mind, and dependent origination. The first point is that the determination of lineage itself is not established because it is established in relation to sharp, dull, and medium faculties. Therefore, its self-nature is not established, and it prevents inherent obscurations, and it has already been established that one must attain the fruits of a Hearer, Solitary Realizer, and Buddha. The refutation of the apprehending mind is that apprehension without an apprehended object is unreasonable, just as a rabbit's horn is not established, so its apprehension is not established. A moment is also unreasonable, just as it was refuted before. Because the dharmas of dependent origination are not established as mutually contacting, reliance is unreasonable, and it cannot become a connection. For the Vaibhashikas, there is also no action and existence, just as connection and entry are prevented. There is no name and form because contact with the womb is prevented. There are no six sense bases because the ability to generate consciousness is prevented. Contact and feeling are also the same as before. There is no craving and grasping, just as the general meaning is prevented as being false and dependent. Birth and death also do not exist, just like the reasoning of one and different, permanent and impermanent. The Treasury of Knowledge says: 'From ignorance to old age and death, the twelve links of dependent origination, I consider to be like a dream or illusion.' And the Mother Sutra says: 'The phenomena of dependent origination are naturally pure.' Meditating on these in terms of entering and returning is also not an antidote, just as knowing that eating food makes one full and not eating makes one hungry, but just as not eating does not make one full, if one meditates on the arising and returning in order without realizing emptiness, dependent origination will not cease. We, as an antidote to ignorance of karma and its results, rely on virtuous and non-virtuous actions, knowing that desired and undesired results will arise, and thus we adopt and abandon, but we only think that dependent origination appears but has no inherent existence. The Root Wisdom says: 'Whoever sees dependent origination, as non-ceasing, non-arising, non-permanent, non-annihilated, non-coming, non-going, non-different, non-identical, the pacification of all elaborations, the peaceful one taught by the Buddhas, to that supreme one, I pay homage.' This means that for the emptiness of appearance without coming and going, originally

It proceeds from understanding the absence of inherent existence. There are three aspects to refuting conduct: not being established by nature, not being the conduct of the noble, and being a place of blame. First, conduct is not established, just as the object of action, the agent of action, and the combination of permanence and impermanence are refuted. Second, in the world, benefiting others and bringing happiness is considered noble, while solely benefiting oneself is considered blameworthy. Third, if one abandons sentient beings who have been benefited for a long time, it is reasonable to be blamed, as it becomes ingratitude. Therefore, benefiting and bringing happiness is necessary. In the letter, it says: 'Whose milk was drunk with the force of love, those who relied on having many labors, if they are abandoned, what could be worse than that?' Shantideva said: 'Those who were fathers and mothers, and relatives and friends, who previously benefited me, to those sentient beings, one should repay the kindness.' There are three aspects to refuting the result: not being established by nature, not ultimately fulfilling self-interest, and being inferior due to the absence of benefiting others. First, like refuting Nirvana. Second, because the ten powers have not been obtained, because great liberation must first be accomplished. Even if you are liberated from the suffering of samsara, you have not yet completely transcended sorrow. Seek this supreme Buddha Vehicle. Third, immediately after passing away from sorrow, no one's benefit is accomplished, therefore it is merely an image of liberation. In the Jataka tales, it says: 'Even my great suffering clearly reveals the steadfastness of compassion. Even the small suffering of others, that one who trembles should be condemned.' Thus, the principles of the Lesser Vehicle, including the method of refuting the self-Buddha, have been explained. Now, to extensively divide the treatises of the Great Vehicle, there are two aspects: the distinctions and the excellent explanation of the treatises with distinctions. First, the distinction of the Great Vehicle being superior to the Lesser Vehicle is: The Great Vehicle of the Buddha is like a great snow mountain lake, because it is superior by seven things such as the supreme armor, the Vehicle is like the sky, it is an immeasurable great mansion. Among them, the Great Vehicle is method and conduct, and the principles of Dharma, more like a great snow mountain lake than the ocean, while the Lesser Vehicle is like the water in a cow's hoofprint.
