Acting in accordance with faith and understanding aligns with one's intentions. The activity of enlightened action is the manifestation of the wisdom that accomplishes the deeds of the Nirmāṇakāya (emanation body). It appears to sentient beings in all pervasive realms, teaching Dharma and manifesting forms, etc., according to what each can be tamed by, without any delay. As stated in the Uttaratantra: "The realm of those to be tamed, and the activity of taming, the means of taming, and its very nature, the all-pervading lord constantly engages in spontaneous accomplishment." Such activity is to benefit and bring happiness as long as samsara exists, placing beings on the foundation of the path, the path itself, and the fruition, leading all beings to the realm of liberation. The activity of the Buddhas places beings in the lower realms on the foundation of the path, in the happiness of higher realms. It places beings in the higher realms and others on the path of the three enlightenments. Ultimately, it places all beings on the enlightenment of Buddhahood. In short, the activity is vast, uniquely beneficial, and continuous, never missing its time—these can be summarized into three points. Vastness means it pervades like space, encompassing the realms where sentient beings dwell. Uniquely beneficial means it continuously leads to liberation, with various practices continuing uninterrupted until samsara is emptied. As stated in the Catuhśataka: "The actions of the Buddhas are never without cause. Even their breath is truly for the benefit of sentient beings." Never missing its time means that, pervading like space, in each realm where sentient beings are to be tamed, up to the point where a single moment of virtue increases in the mindstream of each sentient being, it acts simultaneously without missing a moment. As stated in the Karmashataka: "The waves in the ocean, the abode of makara fish, might miss their time, but the Buddhas never miss their time for the sons to be tamed." In short, the qualities of abandonment and realization of the Buddha's ground, manifest enlightenment, in the state of the peaceful Dharmakāya (truth body), possess the thirty-two major marks, the eighty minor marks, the four purities, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, the four mindfulnesses, the three non-protections, great compassion, the nature of not forgetting, the complete eradication of habitual tendencies, the eighteen unshared qualities, totaling twelve categories and one hundred and sixty

The four displays. These are the supreme of the fruits of liberation, the ultimate manifestation of clear light. The supreme flower of qualities blossoms, which is the sacred Bodhi. The clear light that was previously within oneself, through the master's pointing out, taking its meaning to heart, is free from all obscurations. This wisdom manifests its true nature, becoming the protector of the three realms, the king of Dharma, attaining the state of spontaneously accomplishing the two benefits. From the Great Vehicle's Instruction Treatise, the Wish-Fulfilling Treasure, the commentary on the twenty-second chapter, the Fruit Chapter of Perfected Meditation, "The Great Illumination of the Sun and Moon Jewels" is complete. Having extensively explained the meaning of the actual body in this way, now, in order to complete the meaning of the conclusion of the entire treatise, the various categories will be well displayed. First, for what purpose was this treatise composed? Thus, in order for the fortunate ones to thoroughly understand the essence of the Sutras, Tantras, and Instructions, the order of hearing, contemplating, and meditating is explained without error, as well as the manner of abandoning Samsara and adopting Nirvana. This treatise is well summarized into the three wisdoms of hearing, contemplating, and meditating, which abandon Samsara and adopt Nirvana. For the sake of future generations who wish to understand the meaning of the Sutras and Tantras without error and put them into practice, and for the sake of the fortunate ones who follow me now and desire liberation, the teachings of the Sugata—the Sutra Pitaka, the supreme Tantras, and their immaculate commentaries, as well as the essential meanings of the Instructions transmitted from the sacred Gurus—are gathered together, skillfully combined with the immaculate wisdom of hearing, contemplating, meditating, and innate wisdom. Whose work is it? The determination of the author of the treatise is: This principle, in the vast sky of intelligence, the clouds of hearing, contemplating, and meditating gather densely, the lightning of benefit and happiness roars with thunder, raining down precious Dharma, becoming the adornment of the world. For the meaning of all vehicles, in one whose intelligence is as vast as the sky, the wisdom of hearing, contemplating, and meditating gathers like thick clouds, the immaculate Bodhicitta aimed at the realm of beings is a temporary benefit.
