应当显着地精进。圣《三摩地王经》中说：听闻此殊胜之经，未来无数七十三劫中，不会堕入恶趣。教法将要衰败之时，谁若执持此经，将迅速获得辩才。仅执持一句偈颂，其福德聚亦不可思议。渴望听闻者，全部受持此经，更何须说？一切众生皆得菩提。又《涅槃经》中说：听闻佛法能生起信心。以信心希求六度波罗蜜，直至迅速现证菩提，获得一切清净之法，皆由听闻而来。被烦恼所迷惑，想要造作诸多罪业者，亦能以听闻之铁钩迅速调伏。如同商人不识珍宝岛屿之路，若他人指路而行，则能获得诸多珍宝。同样，善知识、佛陀和菩萨指示听闻正法的道路，依此而行，则能成就获得佛陀珍宝之义。又《宝积经》中，世尊开示说：善男子或善女子，若有人听闻、受持、读诵、通达、如理作意此大乘经典《宝积经》中的一句偈颂，其福德聚是无法计数和衡量的。譬如，此大地可被分解为微尘并加以衡量，但听闻大乘经典宝王《宝积经》的福德却无法计数。又如，此大海之水可逐滴计数，但受持《宝积经》中一句偈颂的福德聚之量亦无法计数。善男子，此大乘经典之王《宝积经》能焚烧一切罪业。听闻此经的众生是安乐的，善男子，应知彼等非凡夫，而是菩

One should strive manifestly in the assemblies. Furthermore, in the Holy Samadhiraja Sutra, it says: "If one hears this excellent sutra, in seventy-three countless future kalpas, one will not go to the evil realms. When the teachings are near decline, whoever holds this sutra will quickly gain eloquence. Even holding just one verse, the accumulation of merit is inconceivable. Those who desire to hear, what need is there to say about holding the entire sutra? May all sentient beings attain enlightenment." Furthermore, in the Nirvana Sutra, it says: "From hearing the Dharma, faith arises. Through faith, desiring the six perfections, one quickly attains complete enlightenment. Obtaining all pure Dharmas comes from the cause of hearing. Those who are intoxicated by afflictions and desire to commit many sins can also be quickly subdued by the hook of hearing. Just as merchants who do not know the path to the island of jewels can obtain many jewels if others show them the way, similarly, if virtuous friends, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas show the path of hearing the sacred Dharma, and one follows it, one will accomplish the meaning of obtaining the jewel of Buddhahood." Furthermore, in the Sutra of the Heap of Jewels, the Bhagavan said: "Any son or daughter of good family who hears, holds, recites, understands, and properly contemplates even one verse of this Mahayana sutra, the Heap of Jewels, the accumulation of merit cannot be counted or measured. For example, it may be possible to divide this great earth into tiny particles and measure them, but the merit of hearing the Mahayana sutra, the King of Jewels, the Heap of Jewels, cannot be counted. Also, it may be possible to count each drop of water in this great ocean, but the amount of the accumulation of merit from holding one verse of this sutra, the Heap of Jewels, cannot be counted. 应当视其如同不退转的菩萨。 那些众生临终时，十二位如来会降临，并说：“善男子，不要害怕！为何如此说呢？因为你听闻了这部大乘经典。听闻此经典，你将不再轮回，不会再见到生、老、病、死。你会遇到喜悦和渴望的事物，不会遇到不悦和不渴望的事物。善男子，你将前往名为极乐世界的净土，并向安乐逝者无量光（阿弥陀佛）听闻正法。”说完便停止呼吸，那些众生便会如此死去。 善男子，这就像般若波罗蜜多被称为是生养一切如来的母亲。他们合掌向六字真言的咒语之王顶礼膜拜。任何人持诵此六字真言一遍，就等于以衣服、饮食、饮品等一切供养来侍奉所有的如来。仅仅听闻《宝箧经》的名字，那些众生过去所造的业障都将耗尽。无论谁 以嗔恨造作恶业，贪恋他人之妻行邪淫，不予取用僧众之物，杀害父母和阿罗汉，破坏佛塔和寺庙，以恶意从如来身中出血，所有这些无间罪的巨大罪恶，都将因《宝箧经》的六字真言而得以净化。此经如同大火，焚烧一切罪恶；如同大水，洗涤一切罪恶；如同大风，摧毁一切罪恶。听闻《宝箧经》的那些众生，将在西方极乐世界的莲花中化生，并向如来、阿罗汉、正等觉的佛陀无量光（阿弥陀佛）听闻佛法。之后，菩萨观世音自在从无间

One should regard them as being like irreversible Bodhisattvas. When those beings die, twelve Tathagatas will come and say, "Noble son, do not be afraid! Why is that? Because you have heard this Great Vehicle. Having heard it, you will not return to samsara again, and you will not see birth, old age, sickness, and death. You will encounter things that are joyful and desirable, and you will not encounter things that are unpleasant and undesirable. Noble son, you will go to a realm called Sukhavati (Pure Land), and you will listen to the sacred Dharma from the Sugata Amitabha." Having exhaled, those beings will die in that way. Noble son, it is like this: for example, the Prajnaparamita is known as the mother who gives birth to all the Tathagatas. They also pay homage with palms joined to this queen of vidya-mantra of the six syllables. Whoever recites this six-syllable mantra once, it will be as if they have served all the Tathagatas with all kinds of necessities such as clothing, food, and drink. Just by hearing the name of this Sutra Pitaka Arrangement, all the karmic obscurations of those beings from the past will be exhausted. Whoever has committed evil deeds out of hatred, has lusted after another's wife and engaged in sexual misconduct, has taken the property of the Sangha without permission, has killed their father and mother and Arhats, has destroyed stupas and temples, has drawn blood from the body of the Tathagata with malicious intent, all those great sins of the five heinous crimes, will be purified by this six-syllable mantra of the Sutra Pitaka Arrangement. This sutra is like a great fire, burning all sins; like a great river, washing away all sins; like a great wind, destroying all sins. Those beings who hear this Sutra Pitaka Arrangement, will be born miraculously from lotuses in the western Sukhavati realm, and will listen to the Dharma from the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Amitabha.
