Possessing immeasurable qualities. As previously stated, even the various pleasures of the desire realm gods, when their karma is exhausted, they abandon them and also possess the suffering of going alone without refuge. Among these abodes, especially those of the gods residing on the summit of Mount Meru, the wealth and happiness generated by virtue are exceedingly abundant. Cities and gardens, stone slabs and great trees, as well as Indra's consorts, a thousand valiant sons, etc., are filled with goddesses adorned with flower garlands and headdresses. The abode on the summit of Mount Meru is renowned in nomenclature as the city of the heavens. There, the appearances accumulated by the gods through shared karma include cities, gardens, stone slabs, great trees, Indra's noble consort surrounded by many consorts, Indra's thousand sons, and goddesses adorned with flower garlands, precious earrings, bracelets, etc., on the rooftops of stacked buildings. Streets, gardens, crossroads, etc., are adorned with singing, dancing, and the playing of musical instruments, as well as the noble steed Swift Cloud Power, Stable Elephant Earth Protector Beautiful Son, etc., frolicking atop thirty-two heads, enjoying joyous festivals day and night without interruption. Among steeds, the azure horse residing at the highest point, resembling the movement of a cloud chariot, is therefore named Swift Cloud Power. Indra rides this horse to examine the signs of virtue and non-virtue of the people of the four continents, as well as the elephant that enters pleasure grounds such as flower gardens. On the thirty-two heads of the Earth Protector's son, thirty-two attendants reside, holding umbrellas and victory banners. Indra resides on the central turquoise head, traveling to the gardens, streets, auspicious lands, and assembly places of the thirty-two heavens, also accomplishing virtuous deeds, and passing day and night without interruption with joyous festivals. Just as there is immeasurable happiness, there is also suffering such as death, falling, and fighting and warring with the Asuras. The suffering of the gods who die and fall into lower realms such as the evil destinies is immeasurable, and especially there is also the suffering of fighting with the Asuras. The cause of warring with the Asuras is

If asked from what does it arise, the cause of strife is threefold, namely from the karma of Jambudvipa, and from trees and watching women. The people of Jambudvipa accumulate great merit and non-meritorious karma, and seeing the great heavenly tree with abundant flowers and fruits, they say in anger: This tree's perfect glory has been given to the gods, what is the root doing in our place? So they take axes to cut it down, fearing the tree will be felled; the gods look at the daughters of the Asuras, and thus strife arises from jealousy. How do they wage war? By clashing with equal forces. The waging of war is like this: the white side and likewise the black, the Nagas and the gods of the sky fight each other, each with their own government and retinue, arguing and warring. The eight great Naga kings of the white side and the Nagas of the black side wage war, the gods of the sky suppress the armies. When the causes for strife gather, initially the Nagas and the gods of the sky fight, and the government and retinue are divided and fight separately. The Nagas of the white side, such as Gawa and Nyer Gawa and so on, eight in number, fight and argue with the Nagas of the black side, such as Hulu and Hulu-ka Chenpo and so on, eight in number. Whichever side is defeated, the gods of the sky will mix the two sides that are liked by the white and black sides. After mixing and fighting, if the Nagas of the black side are defeated, then the Rahu (藏文:སྒྲ་གཅན,梵文天城体:राहु,梵文罗马拟音:Rāhu,汉语字面意思:罗睺星) of the water's edge is mixed and fights. At that time, the lord of the Asuras, Rahu (藏文:སྒྲ་གཅན,梵文天城体:राहु,梵文罗马拟音:Rāhu,汉语字面意思:罗睺星) fights and is defeated, then the supreme gods of the Four Great Kings descend. From the place of the White Garland, they fight with those who have moving garlands. When Rahu (藏文:སྒྲ་གཅན,梵文天城体:राहु,梵文罗马拟音:Rāhu,汉语字面意思:罗睺星) is victorious, the Nagas of the white side and the gods of the sky will mix the armies of the Four Great Kings. Dhritarashtra, surrounded by the Gandharva army, wearing strong armor of precious jewels; Virudhaka leading the Kumbhanda army; Virupaksha leading the Naga army; and the son of Vaishravana leading the Yaksha army, fight with them. If the Asuras are defeated, they fight together with the army of the moving garland Asuras from the place of the White Garland. When the armies of the Asuras are defeated, Indra moves the excellent armies, and when Mount Meru shakes, Indra and his close attendants vanish violently.
