Then arrange in order, the vase, lotus, vase, and vajra implements are arranged in order. Starting from the four directions of east, south, west, and north, place the sword, hook, staff, and vajra in a clockwise direction, with the top in the shape of a trident. If these implements are not available, they can be replaced with painted patterns or dots. Draw stamens on the edge, and draw eight-petaled lotuses on the opening. The base of the stove is white, and the colors of the four directions are: east white, south yellow, west red, and north green. The light on the outer periphery is intertwined with light. A half-moon is drawn on the yellow pedestal, and the vajra symbol is also white. The central lotus is of various colors. Located at the edge opening, the stamens and eight-petaled lotuses are arranged in order, which can be yellow or various beautiful colors, or all white. These constitute the painted pattern. As mentioned above, when the painted pattern and colors are completed, fragrant wood is piled up in a circle on the inner side of the circle, the size of which is one cubit or twenty-four fingers, and the depth is half a cubit or one span or twelve fingers. In addition, regarding the method of burning items and making offerings, generally speaking, the stove faces west and the practitioner faces east. On the right side of the practitioner and the left side of the stove, twelve main items are placed in order, offering two copies of each item to the fire god and the burning god: Yang wood, butter, black sesame, superior food, rice, highland barley, barley, beans, wheat, Durva grass, Kusha grass, and white mustard seeds. On the left side of the practitioner and the right side of the stove, offerings and tormas are placed, including daily necessities such as offering water, as well as tormas for the burning god and the fire god, etc. 7-359 Among them, Yang wood should avoid using old, thin, curved, uneven in length, without leaves, rotten, peeling, broken, with holes, or with excessively thick ends. The roots and central parts of fragrant woods such as Lumu or fir should be selected, with a length of one cubit or two fists. The root is round and the top is like a sword, or the two tops are cut flat, or the bottom is cut flat and the top is cut into a lotus shape. Whichever method is used, honey, milk, and butter should be applied to the two tops, and incense should be burned with spices such as camphor and saffron. Kusha grass should be green, with intact roots and tops, undamaged leaves, and soaked in butter and milk. Durva grass should be selected with young shoots, with intact roots and tops. Rice, whether with or without husks, should be complete and undamaged. Sesame should be black sesame. Rice, sesame, etc.

Preparations: The barley, wheat, and beans are cleaned of impurities such as stones, washed with water, soaked in fragrant water to moisten them, and mixed with butter. White mustard seeds are mixed with guggul incense and butter. The best food offering is tsampa flour mixed with honey, molasses, sugar, milk, yogurt, and butter, which is then tossed by hand, or, as is common practice nowadays, dough balls mixed with milk, yogurt, and butter can also be used. In addition, eight bundles of kusha grass, firewood, and tongs are needed. A fire screen is placed between oneself and the hearth. To the southeast of the hearth, a fire set, brazier, bellows, head covering, cleansing water, sprinkler, vajra bell, and ladle, along with all other necessary items, are arranged. These are the preparations. The Main Practice: The practice and offering are performed through the aspects of the fire god, the homa god, and the fulfillment offering. First is the practice and offering to the fire god. If a simple ground ritual is performed, then a single self-generation (བདག་བསྐྱེད།) is sufficient; otherwise, perform the complete self-generation as described above, and first bless the cleansing water. That is: Purify with Amrita Kundali, cleanse with Svabhava. From emptiness, from Sham arises a vase complete with all measurements and characteristics, inside of which, from the melting of Hūṃ, arises clear and unobstructed cleansing water. The rays of light from one's own heart invite all the blessings and power of all the Buddhas to dissolve into it, giving it the power to eliminate all the impurities of all substances, including the homa substances. Contemplate in this way. Then recite: 'Oṃ Amrita Kuṇḍali Hana Hana Hūṃ Phat,' reciting as much as possible, and finally recite the long Hūṃ seven or twenty-one times. Then, like the Victory Banner Vase Ritual (rnam rgyal bum chog), sprinkle cleansing water on the offerings, purifying and blessing them. Then sprinkle cleansing water on the homa substances: Purify with Amrita Kundali, cleanse with Svabhava. From emptiness, from Oṃ arises clear and unobstructed homa substances, possessing the power to completely destroy all opposing forces. Recite and contemplate in this way. At the same time, with the vajra fist mudra, raise two fingers, aligning the tips to form the Dharma source mudra (chos 'byung), pointing it towards the substances. Contemplate: Removing all the impurities of the Yama wood, its essence is the vajra nature of the body, speech, and mind of the glorious goddess, its form is the Bodhi tree, possessing the nature of undefiled nectar, pleasing the minds of the deities, and possessing the power to destroy all opposing forces. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
