Made of clay or dough, starting from the east, facing inward, arranged clockwise; or in the center of the eight petals, write Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), and on the eight petals write eight ཕུ་ letters, with the letterheads facing outward. Cover the openings with these containers, sealing the edges with clay or dough to make them airtight. Therefore, erect a tent of any blue silk. Next to it, place the round torma (藏文:གཏོར་མ,汉语字面意思:offering cake) of Mahākāla (藏文:མགོན་པོ,汉语字面意思:Protector) with various foods on a maṇḍala (藏文:མཉྫི,汉语字面意思:altar) etc. Starting from the east, first prepare two water offerings, then arrange the near offerings clockwise. In front of it, prepare four torma plates made of copper or other materials for the nāgas, with four dough pills or four small tormas on each plate. Adorn the water offering with perfume, nāga medicine, and silk. When offering below, offer as it appears in the nāga torma. Offer eight times, pairing two torma plates each time. Whether making tormas or dough pills, prepare sixty-four portions of food in the same container in order. In front of yourself, arrange the vajra bell, inner offering, skull drum, and scattering containers as usual, facing west, and perform the preliminary visualization and facing. Maintain a state of bathing and cleanliness. Here, the inner offering and alcohol offering can be replaced with water mixed with rice or barley. Then, the practitioners first perform the self-generation as Hevajra (藏文:དགེས་རྡོར,梵文:Hevajra) or the Tent Protector. Prepare the torma offerings according to their respective practices, along with the items and supports for rainmaking. Purify with amṛta (藏文:ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ,梵文天城体:अमृत,梵文罗马拟音:amṛta,汉语字面意思:immortality), purify with svābhāva (藏文:སྭཱ་བྷ་ཝ,梵文天城体:स्वभाव,梵文罗马拟音:svabhāva,汉语字面意思:own nature). From emptiness, visualize in front of yourself a pleasing jewel mountain, as well as lakes, ponds, oases, palaces, and gardens, etc., filled with all kinds of satisfying enjoyments, and a great ocean of wisdom nectar that pacifies all nāga diseases. In its center, from paṃ (藏文:པཾ,梵文天城体:प,梵文罗马拟音:paṃ,汉语字面意思:lotus seed syllable) arises a lotus, and from raṃ (藏文:རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:fire seed syllable) arises a sun disc. On the sun disc, from hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) arises a blue-black vajra kīla, with the syllable hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) inscribed on the handle. From 'Invincible Protector' to 'wearing the crown of Akṣobhya, seated in the blazing fire of wisdom,' visualize Mahākāla. On his forehead is oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Oṃ), in his throat is āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Āḥ), and in his heart is hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ). From the hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) in your own heart, rays of light emanate, inviting Vajrakīla Mahākāla, surrounded by Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, and ḍākinīs, from the palace of Vairocana (藏文:རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད,梵文:Vairocana) in Akaniṣṭha (藏文:འོག་མིན,汉语字面意思:highest), Vajrasana (藏文:རྡོ་རྗེ་གདན,梵文:Vajrasana) in India, and Sakya Monastery (藏文:ས་སྐྱའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང), etc. Oṃ, Vajra, Samājaḥ) while shaking the vajra bell.

The Lord (mgon po, protector) descends upon the support. Now is the time of the five degenerations. Even in these evil places of descent and abiding, in order to protect the teachings of Shakya (shAkya), and to benefit us, we request you to descend to this place. Om Shri Vajra Maha Kala Ye Ehy Ehi Vajra Samaja. Om Shri Maha Kala Ye Argham to Shapta Ah Hum offer. Jah Hum Bam Hoh, dissolve into non-duality. Offer the seat with lotus (padma) kamalaya satvam. Again, from your own heart, radiate light and invite the five families of empowerment deities with their retinues. Om Vajra Samaja. Om Sarva Tathagata Pancha Kula Sapariwara Argham to Shapta offer. Request all the Tathagatas to grant this empowerment. After making this request, the empowerment deities recite 'Om Vajri Bhava Abhishincha Hum,' and pour nectar from the vase for empowerment, filling the body, purifying all obscurations, and the remaining water rises up, with Akshobhya (mi bskyod pa) as the crown ornament. In the heart of the Lord (mgon po), on top of the sun disc, the syllable Hum (hūṃ, seed syllable, Devanagari: हूं, IAST: hūṃ, literal meaning: destroyer) is surrounded by a mantra garland, and blue light radiates from the Hum (hūṃ) syllable in your own heart, stimulating his mindstream, and contemplate the activity of raining down nectar. Recite 'Om Maha Kala Hum Phat' hundreds of thousands of times, and finally pray: Glorious Vajra Mahakala, Gur (gur) Lord (mgon po), please rain down heavily on this Jambudvipa and provide great assistance. After making this prayer, bless the Lord's (mgon po) round torma like a Hevajra (kye rdor) torma. Offer with three or seven times 'Shasana (shAsana)'. Om Shri Maha Kala Ye Argham to Shapta Pratitsa Svaha offer. Om Shri Maha Kala Ya Hum Hum Phat Svaha. Om Ah Hum offer the inner offering. Holding the vajra bell, praise: Born from the syllable Hum (hūṃ, seed syllable, Devanagari: हूं, IAST: hūṃ, literal meaning: destroyer), the great black one with two arms, one face, blazing blue, holding a curved knife and skull cup. With a garland of heads as a necklace, baring fangs, terrifying. Short and stout, with great majesty, the red face constantly moving. To those who always hate the teacher, and harm the Three Jewels (dkon mchog gsum), and kill various sentient beings, praise the great black one who devours all. Glorious blazing Mahakala (mahAkAla), please accept this offering torma, and may all wishes in my heart be fulfilled. Glorious Vajra Mahakala, please accept this vast offering torma, and entrust the activity as mentioned before in this Jambudvipa.
