If only heroes gather, it is a hero's feast; if only heroines gather, it is a heroine's feast. As Ḍombhīpa said, 'Do not let heroines separated from heroes and heroes separated from heroines turn the gathering wheel.' Regarding the time: The feast related to the time of empowerment and consecration is called 'Cāru's food' or 'Joyful Feast.' From the perspective of yoga, if many different deity yoga practices are gathered, it is called 'Friendship Gathering.' As the 'Union Tantra' says: 'Where all the deities gather, where all the holy beings gather, the sacred gathering wheel is the gathering of all friendships, the common language of all Buddhas, therefore it is named Friendship Gathering.' From the perspective of purpose, to avert plagues and famines, etc., gathering as many people as there are deities in the mandala, seated according to the arrangement of the mandala deities, all practicing the yoga of one mandala deity, offering with gathering implements, and encouraging their respective vows, this is called 'Buddha's Dance.' From the perspective of offering, offering to worldly and transworldly Ḍākinīs is called 'Offering to those with lineage.' Offering to a maiden who is not tainted by worldly dharma, regarding her as a goddess, is called 'Maiden's Feast.' How to do it: Second, it includes place, time, items, people, and ritual. First, for beginners, the places are: 'Cemeteries, bird shelters on mountains, uninhabited cities, or secluded places or the seaside, these places are most suitable for enjoying food.' etc. As Ḍombhīpa said: 'Cemeteries, solitary trees, gardens, monasteries, one's own home, and other secluded dwellings.' For those with stable minds, the places are: 'Places near dwellings, places near fields, places near chandho, places near gatherings, places near drinking, places near cemeteries.' etc. The place is mentioned as Jālandhara, and similarly Oḍḍiyāna, etc. Second, regarding time: the usual times are: as the Tantra says: 'The fourteenth and eighth days of the Yidag month.' etc. As the Saṃbuṭa Tantra says: 'The fourteenth day of the dark moon, especially the eighth day, and the tenth day of the waxing moon, become offerings of worship.' etc. As Ḍombhīpa said: 'The eighth and eleventh days of the waxing moon' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fifteen are highly praised, as are the eighth, fourteenth, and fifteenth of the waning moon. (referring to auspicious days) Special times: times related to empowerment lineages and averting harm. The 'Gur' says: 'Whether harmed by death, or famine, or harmed by foreign armies, empower the mandala, perform fire pujas, when there is no rain or in times of peace, those who possess mantras and meditation, whenever I constantly play, I am always before them, this is not a lie.' Third, the offerings for the mandala and the person offering, whatever is available, and indispensable meat without fault, and wine cooked according to the ritual. The 'Tantra' says: 'Banners and weapons, and the seventh should also be eaten.' And: 'In a single large male skull cup, fill it well with good wine.' Dombhi said: 'Containing fish and meat, etc., harmless and free from all faults, without sin and not taken.' Fourth, the individual: one who has received empowerment and possesses vows, a beginner with few afflictions and little conceptual thought, or one whose mind is somewhat stable. The 'Handprint' says: 'All vows are the same, all are without conceptual thought, abandoning miserliness and pride, free from desire and hatred, respecting the guru and possessing meditation, without jealousy and single-pointed. Thus, the assembly wheel is needed, the wise should diligently enter.' The companion is also a beginner, possessing those qualities, or a woman of good lineage, or a young woman who has been blessed, writing symbols such as skulls on a shroud, visualizing them as deities and making offerings. The 'Samputa' says: 'Skull, enemy-sattva (藏文:དགྲ་སཏྭ་,梵文天城体:ari-sattva,梵文罗马拟音:ari-sattva,汉语字面意思:enemy-sattva), fangs and crocodile, banner, sword and spear, conch and seven. This is the ritual of true union, yogis should always offer.' Those who have attained small, medium, or great heat, gather in the assembly wheel with equal conceptualization, or heroes and yoginis responding with gestures and gestures. 'Handprint responds with handprint, is the distinction of vows.' Then the yogini said: 'Ema, this child has great compassion. If holding a rosary, then one should gather.' If the rosary is shown, then an ascetic who has not received vows is good. That place is called outer. Abiding in the realm of good conduct, whatever the yogini says should be done accordingly.' Fifth, the ritual is divided into three parts: the main practice, the preliminary practice, and the subsequent practice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
