May the mandala of the guru and glorious Vajrapani (金刚手，Vajrapani), and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appear and increase before their eyes. The essence of all the merits of the great benefactors gathered into one. The source of the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma. The ruler of all the noble Sangha, the master of the five wisdoms of the four bodies. I take refuge in all the glorious and precious root and lineage Gurus! I take refuge in the Buddha! I take refuge in the Dharma! I take refuge in the Sangha! 1. I take refuge in the Guru! I take refuge in the Buddha! I take refuge in the Dharma! I take refuge in the Sangha! 20 etc., as much as possible. With palms together at the heart, I take refuge in the Guru, Buddha, Dharma, and the supreme of the Sangha, until I attain enlightenment.
