Thus it is said: Sentient beings as infinite as space have been my parents, and I have repeatedly received their kindness and remember their grace. With love, compassion, and the supreme Bodhicitta, I will accomplish the benefit of others in three stages. All appearances are one's own mind, and the nature of mind is like an illusion, merely an aggregation of causes and conditions. Having realized that illusion is free from elaboration, and abiding in the true nature, this is the fourth stage. Thus it is said. Firstly, as stated in the root text: 'If attached to this life, one is not a Dharma practitioner.' This indicates that abandoning this life requires recognizing the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, the impermanence of death, and knowing what to accept and reject in terms of virtue and non-virtue. Therefore, it is crucial to hear and contemplate these teachings. Secondly, as stated: 'If attached to samsara, one is not renounced.' This indicates that wherever one abides in samsara, whether high or low, one cannot escape direct or indirect suffering. Direct suffering includes the suffering of hells, hungry ghosts, and animals. Indirect suffering includes the suffering of humans, asuras, and gods. Therefore, one needs to subdue the mind with the four thoughts that turn the mind from samsara and generate a genuine and unfeigned renunciation. Thirdly, as stated: 'If attached to self-interest, one is not a Bodhisattva.' This indicates that if one recognizes the three realms as being of the nature of suffering, yet only strives for one's own liberation, it is extremely mistaken. Because countless sentient beings have been our parents countless times, and due to their lack of skillful means, they accumulate negative karma, and although they desire happiness, they only experience suffering as a result. If one abandons them and only seeks one's own liberation, one becomes shameless, without remorse, ungrateful, and of the lowest character. Therefore, one must abandon the mind that seeks only one's own peace and happiness, and generate love that sees all sentient beings as parents. Generate compassion for them, желающих to be free from suffering, and treat one's own happiness and suffering equally, желающих and not желающих. Generate equanimity between oneself and others. To relieve the suffering of others, one willingly endures the suffering of hell for countless eons. Without hesitation, give one's own happiness and merit accumulated over eons to others, generating the Bodhicitta of exchanging oneself with others. To achieve this goal, aspire to attain perfect enlightenment for the benefit of others, which is aspiration Bodhicitta. To quickly achieve this goal, through the four ways of gathering—giving, kind speech, beneficial action, and consistency—which is action Bodhicitta, mature others. Through the six perfections—generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, concentration, and wisdom—which is self-maturation, and so on, one must learn the ocean of Bodhisattva conduct. Therefore, one needs to hear and contemplate treatises such as 'The Way of the Bodhisattva' and follow the noble deeds of the Bodhisattvas. Fourthly, as stated: 'If there is clinging, there is no view.' This indicates that all appearances are one's own mind, and from beginningless time, there is both virtue and non-virtue, both good and evil. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since the appearance of phenomena, defiled by various false thoughts, arises in this way, appearance is mind. Mind is an illusion defiled by habitual tendencies. Illusion arises from the aggregation of interdependent causes from the perspective of relative truth. From the perspective of ultimate truth, its essence is inexpressible; this is the Great Seal beyond mind. These also gradually transform into transforming the mind into Dharma, transforming Dharma into the path, pacifying the confusion of the path, and transforming confused appearances into wisdom. If this is combined with the uncommon practice of Tantra, although there are no profound differences in the generation and completion stages, here, for the time being, according to the oral instructions of the noble Avalokiteśvara (Chenrezig) in the tradition of the great accomplished Gnyan chen po, there are three parts: what is guided, from where it is guided, and to where it is guided. First, it is the naturally luminous nature of mind. Second, it is the path with the branches of the two stages. Third, it is guiding to the state of possessing the four bodies and five wisdoms. Preliminary Practices: In the second part, there are three parts: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. First is the first of the four preliminaries: In a secluded meditation room, regularly set up offerings and images. Sit on a meditation cushion in a meditative posture, and visualize in the space in front of you, on a lotus and moon cushion of precious thrones and various silks, the root guru in the form of Vajradhara or Amitabha, surrounded by the gurus of the oral instruction lineage that you have received. In front of him is the mandala of the yidam deity, on the right are the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya Buddhas, behind him are the scriptures, on the left are the sambhogakaya and nirmanakaya Sangha, and around them are the Dharma protectors. Visualize yourself, along with enemies, obstructing forces, parents, the six types of beings, and beings in the intermediate state of existence, taking refuge. All beings are troubled by the three fears: the fear of the suffering of samsara, the fear of thinking only of oneself, and the fear of clinging to appearances. Arouse joy-filled faith by seeing the qualities of the refuge object, desire-filled faith to obtain these qualities, and conviction-filled faith that blessings will arise by relying on the refuge object, as well as unfeigned compassion for all beings. From now until enlightenment, take refuge with unwavering determination. With the guru as the guide, the yidam and Buddha as the teachers, the Dharma as the true path, and the Sangha and Dharma protectors as companions, visualize yourself and all other beings taking refuge with body, speech, and mind united, and recite: 'Until enlightenment, I and all beings take refuge in the guru, yidam, Three Jewels, and Dharma protectors. Please quickly grant compassion, wisdom, ability, and blessings.' Recite twenty-one times, etc. Taking refuge in all, prostrate to the refuge object. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
