From the hearts of the Guru and the assembly of deities of the mandala, the mandala of space that bestows empowerment emanates, transforming into countless white Amitayus (Sanskrit: Amitāyus) holding vases of life, filling the sky. They say in one voice, 'I am Amitayus (Sanskrit: Amitāyus)'. With these words of empowerment, empowerment is bestowed, and all parts of the body are filled with the nectar of immortality. Visualize that all sins, obscurations of karma, afflictive emotions, cognitive obscurations, along with their habitual tendencies, are purified and cleansed, and that you have attained the longevity accomplishment of Amitabha (Unlimited Light) and Amitayus (Unlimited Life). I am Amitayus Buddha (Tibetan: སངས་རྒྱས་ཚེ་དཔག་མེད།), in one voice with all Buddhas, bestow the empowerment of longevity upon the body, increasing life for thousands of kalpas, and purifying the sin of killing. Invite all the longevity and wisdom of all the Buddhas of the past, present, and future, in the form of white and red Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: Hum, Literal meaning: Hum) syllables, and dissolve them into it. That deity also dissolves into light, enters from the crown aperture, descends to the heart, and transforms into the body of the five families of Amitayus. Visualize them dissolving into light and pervading the entire body, becoming the essence of the immortal longevity vajra. Place the vajra on the disciple's head, I am the wisdom Amitayus, one should abandon all faults, I have conquered the great Lord of Death, son, you have attained the longevity vidyadhara. Repeat this again: Om Ah Hum AmaraNi Jiwanti Siddhi Pala Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཨ་མ་ར་ཎི་ཛཱི་ཝནྟཱི་སིདྡྷི་ཕ་ལ་ཧཱུྃ།), recite three times together with oneself and others. Purify with the eight auspicious substances, and may the auspiciousness pacify all obstacles.
