However, through practice, delusions will inevitably be eliminated, attachments will naturally revert, appearances will naturally be liberated, and realization will arise swiftly. In scattered words, it is said: 'For that which is difficult to cut, strike it down without fear. When the power of experience and realization emerges, abilities and virtues will be perfected.' Thus it is said. Who can uphold this supreme Chö practice, the intention of the Buddhas? It bestows the path to liberation, producing vast and immeasurable qualities. This passage speaks of the nectar of the words of the Sugatas, the intention of the Buddhas, the essence of the profound Prajñāpāramitā teachings, and the oral instructions for severing demons. There are sixteen benefits of practicing this Chö: By practicing the profound meaning, one directly realizes the innate wisdom within oneself; by seeing the nature of one's own mind, one is not affected by the harm of external demons and the black side; by abandoning the signs of acceptance and rejection, all the knots of grasping are liberated; by becoming confident in the practice of equal taste, all the bonds of attachment and aversion are completely severed; by collapsing the foundation of conventional falsehood, one is not subject to adverse conditions and obstacles; by destroying the false notion of self-grasping, one uproots the seeds of affliction; by immediately severing what is to be abandoned and adverse conditions, one directly brings forth signs and results; by realizing that appearances and existence are devoid of inherent existence, one uproots the poisonous tree of grasping at things as real; by having no affirmation or negation towards pleasure and pain, one completely demolishes the mountain of the eight worldly concerns; by realizing that everything is of the nature of mind, one instantly divides the boundary between samsara and nirvana; by driving away adverse conditions, one is liberated from the harm of disease and suffering; by knowing that whatever appears is unreal, one destroys all the defilements of existence; by not regarding the unfavorable side as something to be abandoned, one is free from the mind of hope and fear; by taking whatever arises as the path, abilities and virtues increase impartially; for one's own benefit, one attains non-abiding nirvana in one lifetime; for the benefit of others, one is able to place all sentient beings who are seen, heard, remembered, and touched on the correct path. And so forth, there are sixteen great benefits and many others. The sutra says: 'Whoever holds this Prajñāpāramitā in their hand will not take long to quickly attain supreme enlightenment.' Thus it is said.

O! This profound, vast, and universally beneficial sacred Dharma, is compatible with all supports and tenets, abandoning faults, and is supremely excellent. This sacred Dharma, the cutting ground of demons, possesses six superior qualities: it is superior because it can be practiced by any support; it is superior because it can be harmonized with any Dharma; it is superior because it can be applied in any circumstance; it is superior because it can be practiced in any place; it is superior because it can be practiced at any time; it is superior because the signs of accomplishment appear manifestly without waiting for a future time. Firstly, the individual as a support: monks, mantra practitioners, men, women, hermaphrodites, lepers, cripples, the deaf, the blind, the elderly, the destitute, the insane, those with heart ailments, all can practice it. For example, it is like food for sustenance, which can be used by all. It is compatible with any Dharma, that is, the outer three baskets, the inner four tantras, the old and new mantras, all can be harmonized with it, without leaning to any side or cutting off any lineage. For example, it is like a crossroads on a great road, where everyone from the king to the leper beggar can pass. It can be applied in any circumstance, that is, adverse and favorable conditions, the eight worldly concerns of attachment and aversion, sickness and suffering, happiness and sorrow, whatever arises can be cut through. For example, it is like a well-equipped chariot, which, when fighting a battle, can strike all four limbs of the army. It can be practiced in any place, that is, solitary mountains, villages, residences, monasteries, cemeteries, gatherings of relatives, caves, empty valleys, dangerous caves, deep ravines, dark forests, and so on, whether in secluded and pleasant places, or in frightening and eerie places, all can be practiced. For example, it is like a well-equipped chariot, which turns in whatever direction the driver turns it. It can be practiced at any time, that is, happiness or suffering, the beginning or end of life, summer, winter, autumn, spring, the beginning or end of the month, day or night, even in an instant. For example, it is like a spring of water blessed by a Naga, which never diminishes or ceases at any time. Proof
