Short meditation time, small number of recitations, Rituals with excesses and deficiencies, contradictions, errors, and mistakes, Failure of offerings and tormas, being overdue, All faults of broken vows, I confess with a self-harming and repentant mind. Incomplete samaya substances, short practice time, Unclear samadhi, careless practice. Reversed actions of combining and liberating, Unfulfilled actions of wrathful and turning-back practices, Contradicting the body, speech, and mind of the life-sustaining deity and retinue. Whether aware or unaware, whatever deficiencies and faults there are, I confess and purify them, I pray for purification. I am an ignorant beginner, Whatever contradictions, errors, deficiencies, and damages there may be, I confess to the loving and compassionate Mother. Please accept my apology and grant me purification. Thus, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Then, the empowerment: Offer the essence and rakta. Scatter flowers. HO! Glorious mistress of mantras, great protector, Black Mother, I beseech you to bestow auspiciousness on this vast land. Anointed with drops of blood and fat, hair disheveled, filling the sky. Holding a heart and a bag of diseases in your hands. From your mouth flows rakta, sharp white fangs biting enemies. Three eyes blazing with the fire of the end of an eon, sparks of fire radiating in all directions. Residing in a black whirlwind, sending down plagues of disease and weapons.
