Paso Mala! The essence of emptiness is the Dharmakaya, the nature of clarity is the Sambhogakaya, the various forms of manifestation are the Nirmanakaya, the Buddha is not to be sought elsewhere. Meditate or not, just rest as it is! Look or not, just rest as it is! Grasp or not, just rest as it is! Project or not, just rest as it is! Gather or not, just rest as it is! Wander or not, just rest as it is! Whatever arises, let it be, just as it is! The nature is clear like a clear ocean, bliss-clarity non-thought, spontaneously accomplished. Thus it is said, whatever thoughts arise, flowing thoughts, just relax in the naked awareness of the present moment. Do not welcome or send off thoughts of the past or future, but rest in the great spontaneously accomplished state of naturalness. Movement and liberation are simultaneous, so the Vipassana is a vast and boundless view of sudden enlightenment. After that, the arising of wisdom meditation free from self-grasping and object-grasping, accompanied by the experience of bliss-clarity and non-thought, is the meditation of self-abiding great luminosity. Again, even if thoughts arise as before, do not cling to them or make distinctions, but relax and abide as before in the meditation of self-abiding great spontaneity, so that the experience of bliss-clarity and non-conceptualization and higher realization will arise in the continuum. If we summarize these, it is to recognize appearances as mind, to recognize mind itself as emptiness, and to recognize emptiness as sudden liberation, so that the view can overcome everything. To recognize the nature of reality as self-purification, to recognize self-purification as bliss-clarity, and to recognize bliss-clarity as emptiness, so that meditation can prevent distraction. To recognize appearances and mind as illusion, to recognize illusion as non-grasping, and to recognize non-grasping as impartiality, so that conduct can overcome circumstances. To recognize one's own mind as Buddha, to recognize Buddha as one's own nature, and to recognize one's own nature as sudden liberation, so that the result can avoid straying. In short, no matter how the external world appears, the mind should not cling to it. In the place where the present awareness arises, do not make any fabrications or acceptances, and rest there, and whatever appears will turn into the play of the nature of reality. Third, regarding the method of subsequent cultivation, appearances and mind are recognized as dreams, dreams are recognized as luminosity, and luminosity is recognized as Bardo. First, like this, the external appearances of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and the various thoughts of the internal grasping mind, all like the dreams of last night.

All appearances are manifestations of one's own mind, and there is no difference between appearances and awakening. Knowing that all appearances are unreal, one should engage in all activities such as walking, sitting, and lying down without clinging to anything. By practicing in this way, one will see all phenomena as dreamlike in nature, and without clinging to anything, the self-existing luminosity of non-duality will arise. Although it appears as an external object, there is no clinging to it. Awareness is clear and limpid, empty and clear, and non-conceptual. This is the self-existing luminosity. By recognizing this, one attains liberation in the bardo. Second, the instruction on introducing dream luminosity: In the interval between sleep and dreams, awareness is clear and non-conceptual. The gross conceptualizations of the six external senses cease, and the subtle conceptualizations, like entering into sleep, have not yet arisen. At that time, the self-existing luminosity arises. At that time, one should not be distracted but should meditate diligently. By meditating in this way for half a month, at first bad dreams will turn into good dreams. In the middle, one will be able to control, increase, practice, and transform. Finally, one will dissolve into the dharmadhatu, no longer dreaming, but entering into luminosity itself. If one cannot control it, then one should visualize a five-colored bindu in the heart, blazing like a rainbow, and focus on it. By doing so, one will be able to control it. In this way, both day and night are integrated into the wheel of luminosity. The best will be liberated in this life, and the middling will recognize the self-existing luminosity in the bardo, thereby attaining perfect enlightenment. Third, the instruction on introducing luminosity in the bardo: During the bardo of birth and death, the view is emptiness and clarity, unchanging; the meditation is clear and pure luminosity; the conduct is the freedom of the six senses; and the result is self-liberation without clinging. For those who are familiar with the self-existing luminosity, the bardo of dying will be clearly revealed, and by recognizing one's own nature in the bardo of dharmata, one will attain Buddhahood without seeing the bardo of existence. The second meaning, the luminosity instruction on liberation in the bardo, one should become familiar with the meaning of the instruction at this time when the bardo of birth and death arises. That is, now one should repeatedly contemplate with the view, familiarize oneself with meditation, make a firm determination with conduct, and as a result, the yogi who recognizes his own nature and is familiar with the meaning, at the time of death, should abandon all internal and external objects without clinging to them, clearly remember the instructions, and not be distracted from the present virtuous practice.
