And that is the solitary retreat itself. Where there is renunciation, weariness, and short-sighted wisdom. It is a place to increase samadhi and engage in virtue. Because it is shown to be the same as the essence of the enlightenment place. Where dwelling causes virtue to diminish and afflictions to increase. If one is controlled by distraction, commotion, and this life. That is the place of evil deeds and demons, which the wise should abandon. These are the words of the self-born Padmasambhava. Those who desire liberation should know this. From the Great Perfection, Contemplation, and Rest. It teaches the location for meditating on samadhi, which is the first location. Secondly, the person who practices is also. Possessing faith, diligence, renunciation, and weariness. Weary of samsara, seeking liberation. Abandoning this life, desiring enlightenment in the future. Keeping distraction and commotion at a distance, reducing afflictions. With a broad mind, long-term interest, pure appearance, and great devotion. Those who are diligent in serving the Dharma. By greatly pleasing the holy guru. By taming one's own mind through hearing, thinking, and meditating. Especially for the essential instructions of the whispered lineage. Diligently and for a long time practicing, passing the days and nights. Without letting a moment linger on the ordinary side. Striving for the meaning of the profound essence. Hearing the Shravakas, Bodhicitta, and Vidyadharas. Not contradicting the three vows. Taming one's own continuum, accomplishing whatever benefits others. Transforming whatever appears into the path of liberation. Initially, mainly accomplishing one's own benefit. Holding the mind in solitude, abandoning distraction and commotion. Abandoning bad conditions, subduing afflictions with antidotes. Not confusing view and conduct, diligently practicing meditation. Whatever of the five poisons arises in one's own continuum, in an instant. Holding it with mindfulness, not being distracted, relying on antidotes. Being cautious with body, speech, and mind, knowing shame and embarrassment. Possessing conscientiousness, taming one's own continuum. For praise and blame, acceptance and rejection, pleasant and unpleasant. Treating them equally as illusion, dream, and untruth. Like the echo of a cliff, cultivating conforming patience. Cutting the root of the mind that grasps at self. In short, whatever one does, not contradicting the Dharma. Guarding one's own continuum, not harming others. Not letting a moment linger on the side of afflictions. It is very important to spend the days and nights with virtue. Nowadays, beings are unruly. It is very important to accomplish one's own benefit in solitude. Just as wings that are not fully grown cannot fly. Without clairvoyance, one cannot accomplish the benefit of others. Striving for one's own benefit.

Take to heart the thought of benefiting others. With the distractions and deceptions of Mara, cherish the effort to practice without deceiving yourself. Do not be tormented by regret at the time of death. Therefore, tame your mind with Dharma now. If you were to die now, see what you would take with you. Without knowing where you are going or what will become of you, and without having a firm grasp, passing the days and nights in distraction and confusion, wasting this precious human life, therefore, meditate on the essential meaning in solitary retreat. You must accomplish the ultimate goal in this lifetime. Do I know where I will go after death? Therefore, strive diligently today. The illusion of samsara is like a terrifying dangerous path. You must find a way to escape from this, hold it in your mind. If you are confused in this life, you will wander in confusion forever. Therefore, generate diligence, keep it in your heart. The ocean of afflictions, the sea of self-grasping that is difficult to cross, you must cross it now with the boat of leisure and opportunity. The path to liberation, the small path to enlightenment, sometimes one or two appear. In this state where merit manifests, strive from the heart to accomplish benefit and happiness. Life is impermanent, changing in an instant. Distraction is skilled at deceiving, postponing virtue again and again. Because of long-term habituation, habits are stable, so the side of afflictions arises naturally in an instant. Even if you strive to accumulate merit and virtue, it is difficult to accomplish. Therefore, cherish the effort to avert the suffering of karma. There is no happiness in the realm of samsara. Thinking of the suffering of sentient beings, it is unbearable. In this life, you must strive to seek a way to escape from this. If you do not strive from the heart for the essential meaning, occasional Dharma practice will not help. Therefore, generate strong renunciation of impermanence, be mindful in every moment, and generate diligence in practice. If you realize this from the very beginning, you will quickly attain the state of the noble ones. Self-benefit will be accomplished, and the benefit of others will arise naturally. You will find the supreme path to escape from the realm of samsara. Therefore, whatever you do, align it with the Dharma. This is the virtuous person who is the basis for accomplishing enlightenment. From the Great Perfection, the Resting in Meditation, the second chapter explains the individual who meditates. Third, there are three aspects of the Dharma to be practiced: the preliminaries, the main practice, and the subsequent practice. First, the preliminary Dharma is taught. Impermanence and renunciation are the common preliminaries. Attachment to this life from the depths of
