Here, hold onto that. Abandon the evil tenets that are tainted by each one's own clinging to truth. The difference between these two truths is that the ultimate truth is by nature beyond words and thoughts, while the conventional truth is what is labeled and appears through conceptual thought. So, can the ultimate truth be realized by conceptual thought or not? The essence of the ultimate truth transcends the object and subject of realization, so it cannot be established as something to be realized. As it says in the Heap of Jewels Sutra: "O Kashyapa, the ultimate emptiness is something that cannot be seen by anyone, cannot be made manifest, cannot be attained, and cannot be unattained." So, do the noble ones not realize it? When wisdom arises that is in accordance with the ultimate, it is called that. As Chandrakirti said: "When wisdom arises that is in accordance with emptiness, it is said that emptiness is realized, but emptiness itself is not realized." For example, just as one understands the nature of space, but space itself does not become inseparable from wisdom. In the Vajra Cutter Sutra, it is also said: "Those who see me in form, and those who seek me in sound, those people are on the wrong path, and cannot see the Tathagata. The Buddhas see the nature of reality, the guides see the Dharmakaya, the nature of reality is not something to be known, therefore it cannot be fully understood." As it is said. Furthermore, at the time of becoming a Buddha, the ultimate truth and the Buddha are not different, so there is no duality of object and subject of realization. And at the time of the noble one's seeing of the truth, when one sees that the nature of mind itself and the wisdom of meaning are not two, then at that time there is also no duality of object and subject of realization, so arguing about realization and non-realization is a pointless effort. Saying that there is no object and subject of realization in the essence of the ultimate truth, if someone says: "Then people cannot realize it," that statement is irrelevant and becomes a joke. It is like saying: "This fire is hot and can burn, therefore people cannot do anything," I think it is similar. Although space transcends the limits of elaboration such as thought and conceptualization, just as people can measure space, the ultimate truth itself, although it transcends elaboration and speech, is measured by yogis. Through its greatness, one can be liberated from suffering, and the essence of the clear light of the mind can be manifested.
