Not even one. Because the views and tenets are slightly different. Here, it is explained in two ways. First, the establishment of the Shravakas: Shravakas have the nature of a group, and tenets, these three entities. The establishment of the Shravaka Vehicle has three aspects: the differences of each school, the nature of seeking liberation, and the detailed division of tenets. The first is: The Mahasanghika and Sthavira are distinctly divided, the schools are divided into eighteen, and later others are also divided. That is, three hundred and sixteen years after the Buddha's Nirvana, King Dharma Ashoka, also known as the righteous King Ashoka, appeared in the city decorated with flowers in Kashmir (Khache). At that time, the evil demon transformed into a monk and created a great schism, causing turmoil in the Sangha. At that time, the young ordinary people, mostly Sutra holders, gathered together and formed the Mahasanghika. The older few, mostly Vinaya holders, gathered together and were called the Sthavira. Due to the different acceptance of the Vinaya spoken by the Buddha and the main Sutra holding, the sects also differed. Regarding the basis of transgressions and precepts, the number was also different. Later, the Mahasanghika also gradually divided into eight schools: the divided Mahasanghika, the Ekavyavaharika, the Lokottaravada, the Bahushrutiya, the Sthavira, the Chaityaka, the Eastern Mountain School, and the Western Mountain School. The Sthavira also divided into ten schools: the Himavata, the Sarvastivada, the Hetuvada, the Vatsiputriya, the Dharmottariya, the Bhadrayaniya, the Samkrantika, the Bahushruta, the Dharmagupta, and the Suvarshaka. Thus, there are eighteen schools. Later, the Sarvastivada was also divided into the Sarvastivada and the Kasyapiya. The Suvarshaka was also divided into the Kashyapiya and the Lama. The Vatsiputriya was also divided into the Mahagiri and the Samkrantika. The Samkrantika, the Dharmottariya, and the Bhadrayaniya are also said to have split. The four fundamental schools are: the Sthavira, the Sarvastivada, the Samkrantika, and the Mahasanghika. In the "Two Examinations" it says: the Sthavira, the Sarvastivada, the Samkrantika, and the Mahasanghika.

So it is. There are other ways to establish these as eighteen divisions by differentiation." "It should be understood in the treatise 'Treasury of Tenets,' which I have composed. Among them, the Sthavira Nikāya are included in the Sarvāstivāda school, and the Mahāsāṃghika are said to be included in the Sautrāntika school. The etymology of each of these schools is as follows: The Sangha who uphold the Sutras, the Mahāsāṃghika, are inclined to one side, hence they are called the Mahāsāṃghika school. From that, the first to split off are called the split-off Mahāsāṃghika. Because they believe that the Buddha knows all knowable things in a single moment, they are called the Ekavyāvahārika. Because they say that the Buddha does not possess worldly dharmas, they are called the Lokottaravāda. Because they are taught by learned teachers who follow them, they are called the Bahuśrutīya. When examining compounded phenomena, they say that particles are eternal, hence they are called the eternalists. Because they reside on a mountain with stupas, they are called the Chaityavāda. Because they reside on the eastern mountain adorned with flowers, they are called the Pūrvaśaila. Because they reside on the western mountain, they are called the Aparasaila. Because they are of the lineage of the Sthavira, they are called the Sthavira. The Himavanta are those who reside on the snowy mountains. Because they say that the three times and the five aggregates are substantially existent, they are called the Sarvāstivāda. Among the three times, some actions do not produce results, and some actions do produce results, hence they are called the Vibhajyavāda. Because they proclaim the customs of wearing red robes, they are called the Kāśyapīya. Because they say that all past and future events have causes, they are called the Hetuvāda. The son of a woman who constantly wanders, although ordained by saying "come here," acknowledges a self that cannot be expressed, hence they are called the Vātsīputrīya. Because they follow the teacher Dharmapāla, they are called the Dharmapāla. Because they are disciples of the Bhadra path, they are called the Bhadrayāna. Because they are respected by all, they proclaim the customs of the teacher, hence they are called the Sammatīya. Because they teach many people that existence does not arise, they are called the Bahuśruta. Because they proclaim the customs of the Dharma treasury, they are called the Dharmagupta. Because they shower down excellent rain of Dharma, they are called the Suvarṣaka. Because they follow the teacher Ghoṣaka, they are called the Ghoṣaka. Because the teacher is a lama, they are called the Lama. Because they say that beings transmigrate from this world to the next, they are called the Saṃkrantivāda. Incidentally, a slight refutation of their views: The Sthavira
