And animals, etc., the nature of the desire realm is more pronounced. Subduing this brings forth particularly clear wisdom. The radiant rainbow body is the realm of form, manifested to the gods of the fourth dhyana. The rainbow body, the nature of the purity of the four elements, arises from the power of past virtuous deeds. Because the continuum of mind lacks a coarse basis, the pacification of wind and mind is the four dhyanas. The basis of mind and mental factors with latent imprints, because of being latent, because of being extremely subtle, because of lacking coarseness, exists in the manner of seeds. However, it is also encompassed by the seeds of samsara, so that dhyana is the cause of binding existence. The mind-body has two aspects: moving and unmoving. The moving is the state of beings in the bardo, and some hells such as Avici. Although there is no physical substance, it grasps at existence, like appearances in a dream. Just as the mind-body experiences pleasure and pain in a dream, so too are the experiences of pleasure and pain in hell and the bardo. Each is bound by their own karma and afflictions. On that which the moving mind-body relies, the latent imprints, there is wind with latent imprints, and that wind, through the appearances of the mind, gives rise to all kinds of delusion and misapprehension. Therefore, know that it is the moving mind-body. The unmoving mind-body is in samadhi, where mind and mental factors abide in cessation. If divided, it is the formless mind-body, and the cessation of arhats and pratyekabuddhas without remainder. Because the latent imprints of ignorance have not been abandoned, although there is temporary peace, it is necessary to arise again later. At that time, the awareness of large and small is not clear, like the example of abiding in its own nature in a state of quiescence. Although there is no real butter in milk, it is present and latent in the extremely subtle realm. Because the extremely subtle obscures the essence, it arises from the outside, and therefore, the continuum of mind relies on the mind-body, obscuring the realm of the Sugata-garbha. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly understand all of this. Because it is abandoned by wisdom, it is said to be a body, but the body of the Sugata is unmoving and unchanging. Because its nature is unconditioned, because it is spontaneously accomplished. It appears as an emanation body, but because its actual meaning is not established, it is also confused in samsara, like the spokes of a wheel. In the bardo of existence, the appearances of karma arise. Because there is no physical substance, the wind that relies on it is also absent, so the mind thinks that those things are also absent. Thus

There are three kinds of ordinary bodies: those with substance, luminosity, and the nature of mind. [Examine this, as the seven lines in between are not in the Ajam text.] It is said to be without change or alteration. The accomplished yogi's light body itself, in order to dispel obscurations, because of the nature of essence, is very different from the meditative body. It is superior in that it arises from the ripening of habitual patterns, and the spontaneous accomplishment of unborn habitual patterns. Therefore, the conduct of the nature emanation body is also, because of pure self-appearance, because of manifest blessings, the spontaneous appearance is the quality of awareness. Therefore, the meaning of the precious essence of Dharma is, luminosity, manifest, spontaneous accomplishment, wonderfully excellent. Thus, the extremely profound essence of sutras and tantras, combined with faith, this entrance for the wise, the supreme vehicle, the yogi of the essence of luminosity, Longchen Rabjam has well established. By this virtue, may all sentient beings equal to space, having traveled through the spontaneously accomplished vast realm, with inseparable body and wisdom, may the two benefits of self and other be spontaneously accomplished. "The repeated words of both, whose meaning is in accordance with the scriptures, are called the vast expanse of space. Composed by the yogi of the supreme vehicle, Longchen Rabjam, it is complete. Good! Good! Good!" ༈ The condensed meaning of the Vast Expanse of Space, the Garland of Light, is present. The extensive explanation of the state of the Vast Expanse of Space has three parts: the meaning of entering the root of the oral instructions, the meaning of the actual body, and the meaning of the complete conclusion. The first has three parts: the meaning of the name, the meaning of the homage of the sutras and the extensive, and the vow to compose. The second general meaning, the extensive explanation of the meaning of the actual body, has three parts: the essence of the ground of the path, the nature of the path, and the result of the completion of the path. The first has nine parts: understanding the meaning of the expanse, grasping the essence, existing but not seeing, giving examples of existence, establishing the way of liberation of Samantabhadra, recognizing the way of delusion of ignorant sentient beings, and clearly explaining the symbolic examples of afflictions. The second meaning, establishing the actual path, has two parts: establishing the general connection of the path, and explaining the specifics extensively. There are two parts to that: the general presentation of the nature of the essence of the intrinsic awareness, and, "place sutra general door. From that, turn this
