My name is Emo Bermo. It is said that I was very difficult to raise when I was young. My uncle is the nephew of Geshe (dge ba'i bshes gnyen) Khenpo Barsar. When I was about four years old, I said, "When you shear the sheep's wool, don't take off his clothes." "I have a little faith and compassion. When I was about six or seven years old, my father taught me to read and write for a few days, and I learned to read and write. Later, I learned by myself. I looked at and wrote in old books, as if I was already familiar with them. I learned one 'Ole' (og le) of 'Tsal Yig' (rtsal yig), and later I relied on other scholars to learn a little. When working, I took something like an old book and learned the strokes of the letters. I recited some small sutras such as 'Crown of the Head' (gtsug tor). Because of a minor liver disease, I had an uncle who was a teacher, so I practiced a little Tummo (gtum mo), and recited some recitations of the Seven-Letter Mantra of Chakrasamvara (bde mchog yig bdun), and saw some such signs. There, after my mother died, my father took me to the Kongpo (kong po) area, and at Thoteng Monastery (mtho steng dgon pa) in the lower part (location to be determined), I received the initiation of Chakrasamvara and Hevajra from Lama Gya Dor (dgyes rdor). After that, we returned, and the three of us, father and son, wandered around like beggars and practitioners. I recited the 'Hundred Praises of Arya Tara' of Jowo (jo bo) once. I received the initiation of the Four Deities of Hayagriva from an old man named Lama Nubu. He and his son were like beggars. My mother did not stay, but went to the upper part of Kongpo, and was found later. My father seemed to be doing work such as building walls." "When I was nine years old, at Dron ('gron) Monastery, I studied the 'Vinaya' and 'Bodhicharyavatara' from a lawyer named Khenpo Tsangpo. "I studied the 'Two Examinations Tantra' (brtag gnyis) and other scriptures extensively. I took the complete lay vows and kept the monastic vows. From a Bhikshu Acharya, I received some lineage of stone pill asceticism and Avalokiteshvara nectar pills that came out of Pumo Che (phug mo che). When I practiced stone pill asceticism, the louse disease was very serious, and lice crawled out of my body. I only had one coarse cloth garment that could barely cover my body, and although it was a bit dangerous, it was fine because I only had faith in the Dharma. There, my father passed away, and good omens appeared. When I was ten or eleven years old, I had to take care of a six-year-old brother. At that time, I heard that Je Orgyenpa (o rgyan pa) had arrived in E (e), so I went to see him alone. I arrived at a footprint in the Gnyalto (gnyal stod) valley. I got some Dharma connection. After staying one night, my brother

I was taken to Shangpo Chen. I was taken to Densatil Monastery (Densatil, located in Sangri County, Shannan Prefecture, Tibet) by a teacher named Tsul Gyal. At that time, I was about twelve years old. I received the novice vows from Khenpo Yerpa and teacher Ngariwa. A lama named Lhakhangpa, from the blessing gate of the four symbols of Phagmo Khamsum Ma, the outer Rinpoche Drak Yewa, the incarnation of the venerable Phagmo Drupa, received the Six Dharmas of Je Naropa and the old Nyingma teachings, as well as the birth teachings and profound teachings of Chöje Drikungpa, for five years. During this time, I studied the Rongshi commentary on the Two Treatises from a lama named Tser Tengpa, just enough to understand it. It was not spoken by the lama. My realization is overflowing in the generation stage and the completion stage. If I compare these two, the realization of a moment is the generation stage. Its self-nature is unobtainable, and I think it exists in the completion stage, but realization has not arisen. Before that, when I was at home, when I was young, there was an Ani teacher who seemed to have a booklet. My father brought it back, and it said "Samsara and Nirvana are inseparable," and I thought about it, and I was about to have a realization, but then I was replaced by doubt. The children competed to say which was better, meditation or practice. When I went to the depths of the valley to collect firewood, if I lived in a cave or bird's nest, I would have a hermit's habit. In addition, I also received some fragments of Hevajra from the lama, as well as root downfalls and the Fifty Verses on the Guru, etc. Sometimes, at the place of a person named Bon Sangshe, who was proficient in deities and had strong faith, I learned about deities and recited many six-syllable mantras (oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Devanagari: ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Lotus-born Jewel). I also dreamed that in the land in the sky, in a beautiful house, I met the four-armed Avalokiteśvara. During that time, as a servant of the teacher Gya Tön, for the affairs of the monastery, I received the short Vajrakilaya Vajrakilaya Mother practice from Lama Chungnak Shakya Dar, as well as Yamantaka, and all the empowerments of the Black Enemy Lord of Life, all the empowerments, tantric instructions, and even the face-to-face introduction of the Yama of Karma. At Phagmo Dru Monastery, I also received a small amount of the transmission of Chagdor Rechongpa. At that time, I also met the Khenpo Rinpoche of Se Sopa. I received the four-armed Mahakala practice of the Galo tradition from teacher Je Tsawa. At Phagmo Dru Monastery, I also received the Swift God and Red Banner Mother of Phagmo Drupa.
