It is necessary to walk and be disgusted with samsara. It is the standard of firmness to have compassion for sentient beings of the six realms and to think, "Why not worship the Three Jewels?" Fourth, contemplate that all actions are meaningless, and then train the mind of enlightenment: Now, one's own body, speech, and mind are only for one's own happiness, only for perfect enjoyment, only to be better than others. Fearing that these will not happen, one does not hesitate to engage in various non-virtuous activities, such as trade, agriculture, hiring labor, and making many savings. One does not even know if one will die tomorrow, but mistakenly thinks that one must maintain life with food, clothing, and so on. In reality, there is no meaning at all. Even if one accumulates countless sins and sufferings, one cannot avoid losing all one's relatives and loved ones, and even one's body must be abandoned, and in the end, one can only fall into evil destinies. What is the use of this? One should think firmly in this way. Therefore, it is necessary to enter the guru's instructions, and to generate the thought that one must obtain the guru's teachings in any way possible, which is the standard. Fifth, contemplate the qualities of the Buddha, and then train the mind of enlightenment: Now, one is separated from all suffering, obtains all qualities, accomplishes all the benefits of oneself and others, and attains the grounds, paths, and perfections. If one does not obtain such Buddhahood through this human body this time, it will be very difficult. Therefore, from now on, one should strive to find the means to obtain unsurpassed enlightenment. One should think in this way. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to endure meditation, and to think that if one does not meditate well, one will not become a Buddha, so one must not give up diligence, which is the standard of accomplishment. Sixth, contemplate the guru's teachings, and then train the mind of enlightenment: The obscurations of beginningless samsara can be purified by years and months, the qualities of the Buddha can be increased by years and months, and what else is there to do when encountering the guru's teachings, which are manifested by all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas? One should strive to practice. Therefore, it is necessary not to engage in other affairs, and to think, "What is the use of worldly pleasures? Even meditating for a moment can be a help to generating non-conceptual wisdom," which is the accomplishment of
