The guide to the practice manual, an extraordinary one, is here. The self-nature teacher, Samantabhadra, the glorious Vajradhara of the Enjoyment Body, the compassionate emanation, Vajrasattva, to them I prostrate with body, speech, and mind. To Garab Dorje, who realized the nature itself, to Manjushrimitra, Shrisimha, Jnanasutra, Vimalamitra, and others, I prostrate to all the wise and accomplished lamas. The essence of all the vehicles spoken by the Buddhas, the seventeen tantras and the fragmented exemplary tantras, the heart of all one hundred and nineteen instructions, I will explain the practice manual contained in the copper script. The perfectly complete Buddha, with skillful means and abundant compassion, taught the nine levels of vehicles and the three baskets. The very pinnacle of all of these is the generation stage of the unsurpassed yoga, and the combination of the generation and completion stages, and from the completion stage, here is the stage of completion. From that, the Mind Series, the Space Series, and all phenomena as mind, and even more wonderfully, teaching the nature as free from elaboration. The outer circle is terminology, the inner circle shows the essence as memory, and the secret circle introduces the meaning as an example and symbol like the heart. From all of that, cutting off elaboration, the seventeen supremely secret and unsurpassed tantras, and all one hundred and nineteen instructions are condensed into the meaning of the five mother and son letters. There are three here: the lama who shows the instructions, the disciple who is the object of the instructions, and the actual instructions. The first is: Although it is said a lot from all the tantras and instructions, to put it briefly, from the "Fine Point": "Pure and with senses not diminished, having heard much and with subdued pride, abandoning worldly dharma and being content, familiar with the tantras and practicing them, realizing the view and with little attachment, having few affairs and being diligent, without ignorance and being content, or abiding in the three vows, possessing asceticism and applying to the supreme, relying on the forest is the lama." Thus it is said. The disciple who is the object of the instructions is: The text says: "Ema! With faith and compassion, generous and broad-minded, sharp senses and gentle speech, tamed and speaking words. Respecting the lama, cutting off the elaboration of words. Without examination, secret words elsewhere, not even a speck should be spoken, diligent in this practice. This is the secret mantra of
