You have no place to generate thoughts of memory and consideration. If the thought of memory and consideration itself is like the sky, there is no producer and no cause of production anywhere. For example, just as the sky that appears to exist and appears not to exist, without the difficulty of great wonders such as clouds, rain, fog, planets, and stars, memories, understandings, and various changes will also appear from the mind. Whether good or bad, it does not point to any side, and there is no benefit or harm anywhere. Therefore, if the wisdom of understanding arising from ignorance is wrong, then there is no equality. There is no so-called Buddha other than sentient beings. Similarly, the connection between samsara and nirvana also appears in this way. This is the fourth meaning. Now, the fifth meaning is to show the meaning of no acceptance or rejection, with an introduction. The key to disappearance lies in the fact that it was originally produced from nothing, and if one does not understand nothing in the end, then one is not clever. No matter what collection of thoughts is used to abandon, it will not be abandoned, because the meaning of nothing is understood. Therefore, there is nothing to be abandoned, and there is nothing to be obtained, which is the meaning of the Great Perfection. If someone has knowledge from the natural state, then between the before and after of phenomena, and between the before and after of knowledge, if this natural state is introduced to one's own mind, then recognizing it there, memories and thoughts naturally disappear, and the person who disappears from the natural state will also become a Buddha in the same way. This is the fifth meaning. Now, the sixth meaning is to show with examples that one does not regress in the three realms. Not relying on the dharma of body and mind connection, the former and latter thoughts are not mixed, like the clouds in the sky. Just as it is impossible for the sky and clouds to have a before and after connection, the clouds will not regress after they disappear on their own. Similarly, the key to disappearance lies in the fact that it is not established whether it exists or not, and the wise person through this way, now there is no reason to regress in the three realms, so the causes and conditions naturally disappear. Because there is no body and mind connection, the error disappears, thereby realizing that samsara and nirvana have no connection. If there is regression, then things will appear clearly like this, believing that the previous one is not this current one. So where did this come from? Because the nature of mind has never experienced the key to production in the beginning, the current memory thought is sudden, and it will naturally disappear on its own with just the present moment.

Later, due to the key of previous disappearance, there is nothing that is not sudden. Whatever disappears, since there is no trace, therefore it cannot be established in either benefit or harm. Understanding in this way, one transcends the three realms in one moment. This is the sixth meaning. Now is the seventh meaning, which explains that the rootless nature of mind transcends action. That is, since the mind has no root, the object to be reversed, the support of the mind, is lost. For the rootless mind, there is no place of arising. That is, since memory and thought disappear at the base, it is impossible to perfect again at the base now. The nature of mind is the only thigle, since the root is cut, it cannot grow. Because of this reason, the tenets that consider the base and the path to be mistaken, the fourteen lines of scripture about the stages and paths, etc., should be understood through the scriptures. The meaning of these, in the second meaning of abbreviation, is explained in seven branch meanings. Now, in the third meaning of abbreviation, the first of the four branch meanings is explained. The meaning of the nature of reality, that is, relying on the teachings with examples, thereby generating trust. That is, for example, the story called "Enticing a Rakshasa Woman." A satisfactory son named "Extremely Stable" was killed by his father, a rakshasa named "Soga." The mother asked, "Where has my son gone?" The father said, "Lost." So the mother circled the four continents and Mount Sumeru three times looking for him, but could not find him. Therefore, she gave up hope and detached from attachment. Similarly, by killing awareness with memory, cutting off the source of memory and awareness to offer, one can become skilled in the immeasurable appearances and realities in which thoughts disappear. The second, the teaching like a great garuda with complete wings is: Just as a garuda emerges from an egg and its wings are complete, and it travels unhindered in the sky. For the various thoughts of memory and consciousness, in the unadulterated state of the basic things, hiding in the manner of self-absorption, that is, hiding with the wind under the throat, thereby cutting off the thoughts of samsara unhindered. By doing this, one will know that one's own measure will be transformed into wisdom. The third, the teaching like a lion with complete limbs is: For example, a lion cub emerges from its mother's womb, and after six days its limbs are complete, and it has no hindrance to anything. Since the previous and subsequent minds have been exhausted, searching for the boundary where thoughts disappear, practicing unhindered on appearances, one can become skilled in the exhaustion of the key points of appearances and awareness, and the place of disappearance.
