The instructions are explained, and at times, the disciple is made to contemplate that even the people in the city are impermanent, and this idea is instilled in their mindstream. The lama should occasionally explain the faults of samsara. In this way, after getting used to it for many days, if strong faith has not arisen in their mindstream, they are not suitable as a vessel for secret mantra, so it is important to train their mind in the law of karma and its effects. After that, once faith has arisen, in order to gain a definite understanding of awareness, they should be guided to distinguish between samsara and nirvana, or the distinction between samsara and nirvana is not like that either. Thus, for those who have previously developed bodhicitta, in order to stabilize it, the mind should be placed on the channels and winds, and in order to stabilize it, the lama should teach the instructions on channels and winds and have them practice. When practicing the instructions on channels and winds, there are no key texts. It is not necessary because it is clear from the oral instructions. The reason for teaching many instructions such as mind training is that this self-existing great perfection is said to be easy, quick, and have many methods. Therefore, in the Great Perfection, it is only taught in words that the six aggregates are spontaneously present. However, all of those are disjointed words without essential points. With the instructions that become essential points, in this way, the method of attaining Buddhahood without abandoning the six aggregates is taught from here as the essential point: relying on all sounds, it is taught to generate the experience of non-leakage; likewise, relying on smells, it is taught to generate; likewise, relying on forms, tastes, touches, and dharmas, it is taught to generate the experience of non-leakage. If one knows the suchness of sound, then the key to knowing the essence and elaboration of all dharmas is: training the mind relying on the sound of a flute; training the mind relying on the strings of a lute; training the mind relying on the sound of a three-stringed lute; relying on drums, nets, and lutes; relying on earthenware drums and cymbals; for taming the fierce ones, relying on the strings of a lute; relying on the strings of cymbals; relying on the sound of bells; training the mind relying on the drone of a conch shell, etc., as it is said. If the mind is not trained and purified, awareness cannot be definitively established beforehand. Training the mind relying on forms,

The arising of uncontaminated experience is said to rely on many examples, many interdependent connections, and many symbols, etc. Smell is relying on sandalwood and camphor, etc., relying on scents that are pleasing to the mind, taming the mind, and giving rise to uncontaminated experience; the neem tree and red sandalwood and the Kala Kita tree, etc., relying on those that are pleasing to the mind, taming the mind, and giving rise to uncontaminated experience, this is shown as a branch of skillful means. Taste is jaggery with six tastes, and the fruit of the tree called the king of trees, Martta, if someone tastes about one-sixth of the fruit, then for five or seven or nine days, his thoughts will not be disturbed by other things, the body will not move, the mind will be naturally clear, the mind will abide in a state of happiness, and will remember the qualities of the Buddha. Touch is there is a tree called Masali, the king of trees, if you take a leaf that spirals to the right, and touch the heart of anyone with its leaf, the mind will naturally abide in meditation, this itself is how touch transforms into meditation. Dharma is the instructions of the lama. Likewise, the yogi of the Great Perfection of Naturalness enjoys the five objects of desire without abandoning them; showing the qualities that the Buddha possesses in this way is the Great Perfection with many skillful means. Therefore, it is shown that it is absolutely necessary to realize the nature of awareness through familiarity and mastery of the mind. What is to be tamed is the essence of bodhicitta, and also the secret key to opening the letter སྦ (sa). (Tibetan, Devanagari, athi, meaning unknown)! I prostrate to the great view of unchanging self-appearance! Thus, by subduing the mind through the channels and winds, in order to clarify the entrance of self-nature through the instructions of view, meditation, and action, therefore, by establishing all of this with words, it is necessary to cut off attachment to words and to abide with certainty in the manifest awareness. Moreover, since the body is the key to all actions, taming the body is extremely important. Since leisure is the key to all meditation, leisure of body, speech, and mind is essential. Since the eye is the key to all views, therefore, in order to clarify the eye, one should warm and massage the channels, as well as milk, the yolk of a black crow's egg, the powder of juniper bark, and old dzi stones.
