Please bestow upon the heart-son! The wisdom empowerment, etc., are as before. When the time comes, the lama removes his upper garment, and the student sits naked in the vajra posture. The lama says: O son of the lineage! Relax the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Look at the root of the mind. Be sure to recognize that this mind, which moves in various ways, is the clarity of the nature of reality. First, the introduction to the three times: Do not analyze the past, do not welcome the future, and do not affirm or deny the present awareness, but leave it as it is. At that time, a clear and bright awareness, unpolluted by conceptual thoughts, will arise; be sure to recognize that as the Dharmakaya. Second, the introduction to the five poisons: Let anger arise. Recognize that as your own mind, and decide that the mind has no basis or root. Look without grasping at the unborn mind, and the mirror-like wisdom will arise. Let pride arise. Recognize that as your own mind, and decide that the mind has no basis or root. Look without grasping at the unborn mind, and the wisdom of equality will arise. Let desire arise. Recognize that as your own mind, and decide that the mind has no basis or root. Look without grasping at the unborn mind, and the discriminating wisdom will arise. Let jealousy arise. Recognize that as your own mind, and decide that the mind has no basis or root. Look without grasping at the unborn mind, and the accomplishing wisdom will arise. Let ignorance arise. Recognize that as your own mind, and decide that the mind has no basis or root. Look without grasping at the unborn mind, and the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu will arise. Rest in equanimity in the unpronounceable A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: without). Third, the introduction to the five objects: O son of the lineage! When awareness moves towards an object, grasping arises from the moisture of the water element, the feeling of stability increases from the earth element, the concept of warmth arises from the fire element, the activity of movement arises from the wind element, and the imputation of pervasiveness is established in the space element. Grasping is impurity, and if you realize it, there is no wisdom more clear than the wisdom that arises from impurity. Its nature is the great, clear, and unobstructed wisdom in which all objective conditions are completely exhausted. If you know this, it is called the Sambhogakaya, and there is no other. Fourth, the introduction to the clear light wisdom: Show the peacock feather, etc., and say: O!

Son of lineage, even in this existence, the clear light of wisdom, the unceasing clarity that arises in all things, if one does not recognize it, one will grasp at the five lights. One grasps at the five colors as truly existent. If one recognizes it, one is immediately liberated. From the unborn realm, the unceasing wisdom manifests in various ways, such as white, yellow, red, green, and blue lights. By grasping at these five lights and their names as truly existent, one is caught in the cycle of existence. If one understands the great equality of non-existence, then all phenomena of grasping and being grasped dissolve into their original nature. Like gathering light into a crystal, one attains Buddhahood in the great rainbow body of the great transference of wisdom. These are the four empowerments of the supreme secret Ati, free from elaboration. Samaya! The concluding empowerment of auspicious life: Mandala offering prayer: Namo!
