Bless us. Sentient beings tormented by the karma of ignorance, seeking happiness, engage in actions that cause suffering. I feel compassion for those ignorant beings. Bless them to purify the obscurations of afflictions and karma. In this prison of clinging to self and possessions, like a wild animal trapped and entering again. I feel compassion for those ignorant and deluded beings. Bless them to completely uproot samsara. In this city of inescapable karma, like pouring from one container to another. I feel compassion for sentient beings trapped in inescapable karma. Bless them to sever the cycle of rebirth in the six realms. The sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death, no matter how much they see, they are not afraid, their hearts are stubborn. Wasting their precious human life on the path of distraction. Bless us to remember impermanence and death. Because they do not understand that impermanence is unreliable, they still cling and are attached to this samsara. In the state of wanting happiness, life is filled with suffering. Bless us to turn away from attachment to samsara. The outer world is impermanent, destroyed by fire and water. The inner sentient beings are impermanent, body and mind separate. Summer, winter, autumn, spring, the seasons are impermanent. Bless us to generate renunciation from the depths of our hearts. Last year, this year, the beginning and end of the seasons, days and nights, moments of time are impermanent. If we think well, we ourselves will be overtaken by death. Bless us to have diligence and perseverance in practice. This precious human life is very difficult to obtain, but when the Lord of Death is approached by disease, beings without Dharma return empty-handed, I feel compassion. Bless us to generate the mind of practice in places without leisure. Alas, alas, compassionate Three Jewels, bless us to attain liberation in this very moment.
