From the time of good teachers and young friends, May I meet them and ordain in the Buddha's teachings. May I accomplish all that pleases the heart of the kind teacher and guru, May I not do even a moment of what displeases the guru. May the discipline of morality, the foundation of the Dharma, be firm, May the aggregates of morality increase without being stained by faults. In the vast ocean of profound and extensive scriptures, May I engage in hearing and thinking with unwavering wisdom. Having completed hearing and thinking, may I enter the practice of meditation, Knowing it is difficult to find, may I take the essence of leisure and endowment. Fearing death, may I generate diligence in practicing the Dharma, May I generate faith in the law of cause and effect.
