In a harmonious way, comprehend the well-spoken words of the wise. In general, the root of all Kalachakra calculations is the sun, which is the shape of the shadow. The limits of length and whether they are equal or not, the phenomenon of sunrise and sunset occurring in the same place. Because differences are manifested, the duration of desire and power can be determined. If the certainty of the characteristics of the foot, i.e., the certainty of the tree's shadow, is not found, then the so-called calculator is just a shadow in name. This principle should be carefully understood. Here, what is the interval between houses, sun, and dates, and the difference between lengths? That is also when the month is not full, the day is taken as the main basis. After the month is full, the date is taken as the main basis. Even if it is less than thirty days and nights, from full moon to full moon, the month of thirty dates is complete. Therefore, those who follow the Vinaya and Abhidharma roughly calculate and discard six days each year. In detail, every five years, followers discard forty-eight fingers and twenty-two small fingers, which cannot make up a day. Discarding these, this is the reason for the Kalachakra. In a year, from days and nights and dates, only the days and nights of the house are the main ones. Why can a year be completed before the days and nights of the house disappear? One year of three hundred and sixty days, the well-known days and nights in the world and scriptures also explain this principle. All the key points of the astrological chart arise from the distinction of the three types of days and nights. Therefore, these superior points should be understood as they are. The remaining days and nights of the arising planets, as stated in the Glorious Supreme Tantra: Fifteen days of the moon, three days of Mercury, six months of the sun, nine months of Mars, one year of Jupiter. Six years and fifteen years of Saturn, nine years of Rahu, these years, months, and days. These added together are the age of a person, thirty and a half months. The half day and night of the planets, multiply that day and night by three, plus half. Sixty-six years more than ten months, plus three years of debt and three quarters, is one hundred years. Half two days, that is, two hundred years, three days two thousand months. Twelve months of the year, one hundred years. Four hundred and twenty million human years, divide the lower two digits by ten and take the remainder. Add to the total above, the remainder is half of the time of twenty-one million six hundred thousand years. That is the main breath eight thousand, each breath one thousand two hundred years. The remainder of dividing one major change by five, so many human years are the time of strife. That remainder is two three
