Supplicating from the depths of devotion, from the midst of the ocean of your pure lineage, O supreme guide, Holding in cupped hands the essence of the fortunate conch-lotus, I pray, relying on the nectar of the mind. Calling out your name with unwavering faith, Hairs stand on end, tears flow uncontrollably with involuntary longing. If I place all my hopes for this life and the next in you alone, May you not abandon me with your compassion, with your skill in taming beings through your activities. Bless me with your stainless, glorious power, Guru Zhi Lodrö, who ripens my lineage. Liberate me, O supreme heart, essence of the Sugata, Remove obstacles, Guru Wang Drak Tsal.
