The karmic result is heavier than the five sins, so there is no doubt that one will experience intense suffering in the great hell of uninterrupted suffering until the end of the eon. Therefore, one should carefully consider the advantages and disadvantages of both this life and the next, and no one, including the ruler, ministers, and subjects, should violate this oath. Whoever upholds the principles of what to adopt and what to abandon as stated herein, may the Three Jewels, the Three Roots, the Dharma Protectors, the Oath-Bound Ones, and those with the Eye of Wisdom always care for them like a beloved child. May the non-humans, powerful and arrogant ones, also protect them like friends. May life, merit, splendor, enjoyment, fame, reputation, strength, majesty, power, wealth, fortune, lineage, and all retinues here increase and flourish, and may they be pleasing to all humans and non-humans. May the three, gods, demons, and humans, gather in joy, and may the eighty fears be completely pacified. May the fear of untimely death not occur, and even when death comes at the end of life, may they be touched by the rays of light emanating from the urna hair of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, thereby freeing them from the suffering of death and the fear of the bardo. In that instant, like in other Buddha-fields such as Sukhavati, may they enter the lotus bud, take birth, and immediately the lotus stem open, see the face of Amitabha Buddha, and receive the blessing of speech. In Sukhavati, may they meet the faces of the countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who come to visit each day and receive teachings. And may they, through the power of Amitabha's aspirations, travel to countless other Buddha-fields, behold the faces of countless Buddhas, hear the sacred Dharma, perfectly accumulate the three accumulations, obtain the opportunity to practice all the supreme aspirations of the Buddhas and their chief disciples, become the supreme guide who liberates all limitless sentient beings, the spiritual friend of the boat of liberation, the teacher of gods and humans, and quickly attain the precious state of perfect and complete enlightenment of the Buddha. From the wings of King Ketara in the land of Bru-sha, the beings in between, the place of acceptance and rejection, the giving of good and bad, holding it as it is, praying to the general deities and the assembly of protectors, and also entrusting the activities to the fierce and arrogant ones, may all those be accomplished as they are, through the power of the truth and the blessing of the Three Jewels and the Three Roots, the deities of unsurpassed praise. And may the gods and sages, who have accomplished the truth, and those who have obtained the power of speech, also be helpers in accomplishing it. Furthermore, having entered into this work of action, even if tiny insects have been destroyed in the path of seeing, hearing, remembering, touching, and walking, may they be together with beings who are in a state of equanimity in the direction of the wind. That is, those who have become places of peace and attachment, and also those who have become places of anger and conflict, in short, may all beings who are connected, without exception, be embraced by the mind of enlightenment, and may the accumulation of merit be dedicated in common. In particular, may the minds of the beings in this part of the earth, who are entangled by hatred, conflict, and universal intolerability, be turned away from waging war, fighting, and battling, and may most beings be correctly placed in the vows of the mind of enlightenment. And through the power and ability to dedicate to others these roots of virtue, such as the appropriate teachings, without my own possession, may all those beings in this life fully enjoy the complete splendor of their own goodness, without separation, and may they always be accompanied by happiness and virtue in future lives, and may they be the cause for quickly attaining the fruit of liberation and supreme enlightenment. May the sacred sound of Dharma from our esteemed friends never cease. May all subjects and citizens, not just a few or for a short time, be liberated from the eons of disease, famine, and warfare, and may they always enjoy the feast of a fully flourishing golden age! In this way, in the ocean of perfect virtue, through the compassion of the Buddhas, the lord of the thirty-three realms, and the churning rope of beneficial teachings, may my pure thoughts arise like a fountain. 1. The well-churned kingdom is an ornament of a beautiful celestial lake. When this youthful moon of words rises, why would it not become a garland of beautiful white lotuses for the ears of the maidens of the directions? 2. Therefore, may this chain of well-developed words, just as it is, be at the ultimate end of all that is wished and hoped for, like the roots of a tree that never diminishes and is completely gathered, may it remain perfectly stable until the end of time! 3. Although beings in this degenerate age have very little merit, the activity of the Buddhas' compassion is inconceivable. May the stream of endless suffering be reversed in an instant, and may we enjoy the feast of auspicious and perfect glory! 4. In particular, on the mirror-like surface of the earth adorned with white dust, like the Sāla tree, the sight of beings enjoying happiness and well-being is as clear as the smiling expression of wide eyes. May it not be like the rough garment of displeasure, but like the headdress of a joyful goddess, and may we live entirely in the splendor of joy, as if residing in a garden of immortal bliss! 5. From beginningless time, the accumulated virtues and the union of Sindhu (सिन्धु, Sindhu, river) and Sutaka (सुतका, Sutaka, impurity), and the master of the uncreated, uncompounded Dharmadhatu, the profound and clear wish-fulfilling jewel Kaustubha (कौस्तुभ, Kaustubha, wish-fulfilling jewel). By the power of these, may the entire mass of samsaric play be transformed into Sālesbram (a type of incense). May I become the creator who fills the treasury of the mind with perfect jewels for all beings who lack happiness! 6. Whatever object my mind clings to with attachment, especially that which has become an object of unbearable hatred, may I and they together attain enlightenment through the power of the complete dedication of the virtues accumulated in my three times! 7. As far as the extent of space, may all sentient beings be held by me as friends, and may I completely become the performer of all the activities of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! 8. Thus, in the land surrounded by cool ranges of snowy mountains.
