It will also be reborn in hell and the animal realm. When reborn very many times, one will attain the practice of the Mahayana path, adorned with bone ornaments, singing Vajra songs, and the gathering of dakinis. Most of the time, one will be reborn as a yogi who displays manifest miraculous powers, practices in the twenty-four lands, and engages in vast deeds for the benefit of beings. In any case, without delaying for many lifetimes, one will undoubtedly merge into the heart of the great glorious Heruka Akashagarbha like rays of sunlight merging into the sun. Finally, in the pure Buddha-field of Akashavyuha, one will become a victor called Buddha Akashavilasita, enabling all beings connected to him to attain the ground of enlightenment there. The manner of rebirth mentioned above is only a seed, and other things may occasionally flash in the mind. In future lives, some things will inevitably appear in the realm of thoughts. Those are not very important, nor will they all become worthy of aspiration. In the ultimate sense, those non-discriminating appearances are like illusions; where would there be a permanent and unchanging essence? Moreover, it is difficult to truly and accurately ascertain them, because the actions of the yogi's channels, winds, and bindus naturally give rise to a vast array of aggregates' play. Furthermore, even in states of samadhi that are untainted by shadows and in secluded places, one may feel that one can know others' thoughts, behaviors, and the changes of time through clear perception, but it is difficult to truly and accurately ascertain them until this physical body of flesh and blood has been transformed into an unchanging body of bliss-emptiness samadhi. Even if some things are true, they should be regarded as dreamlike appearances, and one should not be overly attached to reality, attachment, aversion, or wonder. All who enter the path of yoga must understand this point. It is difficult to say that all of the things recalled and spoken above in the manner of a lineage of rebirths are a continuous succession from one rebirth to another, but some are, and most are certainly blessed by this and that.

In childhood, most of the time, the world felt like an illusion or a dream, making it difficult to cling to ordinary worldly things. Good experiences of emptiness and compassion would constantly arise. The appearances of emptiness and forms, names and signs, would only cause a slight sense of weariness. Without being taught by others, a natural and spontaneous faith and commitment to the guru and deities would arise. Efforts were made to believe in cause and effect, to adopt virtue and abandon evil. Even just a little meditation on the pith instructions received from the root guru would generate good qualities in the mind. There was no strong attachment to the appearances of this life, and due to impermanence and renunciation, days and nights were connected to samsara. Although various good habitual tendencies from previous lives arose, these gradually diminished due to clinging to the eight worldly concerns. However, a corresponding realization of the view of the profound reality known as Mahamudra arose easily in the mind. By truly understanding the Mahamudra of the fourth empowerment, the profound clarity of Mahamudra, and the great bliss, the way of abiding in accordance with the wisdom of the Buddha was established. Nowadays, for some profound meanings of the Vajra words of the tantras that ordinary people cannot understand or realize, even without relying solely on learning and practice in this life, due to the emanations of Padmakara, the lord of the lineage in past lives, and the blessings of some great gurus and chariots, combined with the guidance of the root guru in this life, their views are thus established as they are. One is not deluded by the thought of merely seeking peace and liberation for oneself, but generates vast Mahayana aspirations, and strives to lead all connected beings onto the path to enlightenment. Death and the bardo, which all beings fear and dread, are not so frightening or dreadful, but are recognized as merely the self-nature of thoughts, thereby gaining confidence in natural liberation. Similarly, although one believes in cause and effect and knows the suffering of the lower realms, the thought of "When will I be lost there forever?" does not arise. Moreover, if one could accomplish vast benefit for beings, one would be very willing to enter even hell. Furthermore, the vast realm of the bodhisattvas is constantly and rapidly...
