The supreme guide is unparalleled, and it is difficult to express his name. However, for the sake of meaning, if we mention his name, it is Khenchen Rinpoche VII Gelek Chöpel, also known as the Glorious Sun of Eloquence, Pal Sangpo, who possesses all-knowing wisdom and great vision. In this day and age, the spiritual friends who uphold the teachings without sectarian bias regard the general biography of this holy being, and in particular, the pure activities of this lord, which are not obscured by the clouds of the eight worldly concerns, as following the young moon and upholding the conduct of the Kadam forebears. Therefore, they praise him as a place where the rain of flowers of true praise transforms into clouds of offerings. Therefore, at this moment, it is also the self-nature of the activity of the Victorious Ocean, which is stainless and spontaneously accomplished, and the wisdom illusion net of the glorious Lord of Secrets, which spreads throughout the Victorious Ocean's immeasurable realms of space. Although it transcends the realm of ordinary beings, relying on the pure virtuous deeds of the beings of this land and the compassionate causes and conditions of the protector, he manifests as an incomparable spiritual friend and descends as the protector of beings in this degenerate age. For the sake of the disciples, the biography of the activities of the lord's entire life will be recorded in a continuous narrative from birth to complete passing into nirvana, without the many elaborations of scriptural citations and chapter divisions. Furthermore, it will be narrated in a straightforward manner without any alterations. What is the reason for this? If it were possible to completely narrate the lord's authentic biography without any embellishments, there would be no need to say anything more. Even if it were only a partial account, it would certainly arouse extraordinary faith and respect in impartial and wise individuals. Otherwise, praising without skill would turn into slander. Therefore, I am determined not to add any exaggerations and to do my best to narrate with straightforward language. Ah! Among thousands of guides, the strength of heart is supreme, Like the thunderous sound of Shakya Singha's beautiful name, In the mire of the degenerate age, good deeds are like gold, The immaculate biography is worthy of praise by the wise. The various machinations of the all-pervading wrathful and desirous ones, Are not like the foolish clinging to wondrous things, But are the symbols of the virtues of the holy ones.
