Because there is no exhaustion, I pray that I may accomplish such a Buddha activity that combines all the life spans and so on of all of you. As soon as he said this, the sound of the gods saying "Excellent!" came from the sky. This Tathagata is called "Adhimukti," and is the last of the thousand Buddhas of this fortunate eon. He will have a life span, etc., equal to the sum of the life spans, the number of the sangha, and all the activities of the previous Tathagatas of this fortunate eon. Then, those thousand youths asked the youths Dharmamati and Dharma-buddhi: 'Noble sons, what kind of aspirations have you two made?' The son of Vimala-mata, Dharmamati, said: 'Friends, I wish to act among all of you, become Vajrapani, not be apart from all the secrets of the Tathagatas, and listen to, believe in, and realize all the inner and outer Buddha-dharmas. I make such an aspiration.' The son of Anupama-mata, Dharma-buddhi, said: 'I wish to urge the turning of the wheel of Dharma when all of you become Buddhas.' Thus they spoke. Among them, King Dhrtarastra is the Buddha Dipamkara, the thousand sons are the thousand Buddhas of this fortunate eon, the boy Dharmamati is the lord of secrets, Vajrapani, and the boy Dharma-buddhi is Brahma Suci-kumara,' said the Blessed One. Likewise, it also appears behind all the emanations of the Tathagatas, and all those blessings belong to the Lord of Secrets. Even if the body of Vajrapani is universally shown behind all sentient beings in the great universe, it will not be able to fully show the blessings of Dharma and wisdom. After the Buddha finished speaking, he said to the Bodhisattva Shantamati: Shantamati, this Vajrapani holds the vajra, makes offerings to all the Buddhas of the Good Kalpa, upholds the true Dharma, expands the categories of the secret Dharma of the Tathagatas, and fully matures immeasurable sentient beings. When the Tathagata's true Dharma declines at the time of faith and understanding, he will be born in the Land of Manifest Joy of the Tathagata Akshobhya Buddha, and from that Tathagata he will receive and practice one hundred and eight mudras. After that, he will please countless immeasurable Tathagatas, protect the Dharma of those Buddhas, and mature immeasurable sentient beings to complete enlightenment. After as many kalpas as there are sands in the Ganges River have passed, he will manifest complete enlightenment. In the kalpa called Purification, in the world realm called All Pure, he will become the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, the Vajra Subduer. Having faith in the Great Vehicle, there are not even the names of the Hearer and Solitary Realizer vehicles; only the deeds of Bodhisattvas are spoken, and those gods and humans will become adorned with the twenty-eight marks. That Tathagata's lifespan lasts for eight intermediate kalpas. When he teaches the Dharma, light emanates from his body, gathering the retinue, and countless tala trees rise up in the sky above, filling the four continents of the world with his body in the lotus posture. He makes the ten directions of the world hear with his voice and teaches the Dharma. There, there is not a single being who opposes or contradicts the Dharma he teaches; all beings are of sharp faculties. In that field, there is no other king except that Tathagata, the King of Dharma, and beings do not cling to the ownership of "I." When that Tathagata wishes to receive alms, the gods and humans stand before him holding bowls. They merely think of it, and all necessities appear, and they offer alms. When that Tathagata enters into samadhi, those Bodhisattvas also abide in the state of meditative absorption. It is prophesied that that world is endowed with these qualities and other immeasurable qualities. When the prophecy was given, Vajrapani threw the vajra into the sky, and this world shook, a rain of flowers fell, and the sound of cymbals arose. Then, the Lord of Secrets invited the Blessed One and his retinue to the Willow Palace for seven days. Vajrapani entered into the samadhi called "Great Array King" and emanated a retinue palace like that of the Buddha field of Infinite Jewel Array in the east, and invited the Four Great Kings and their retinues, as well as the gods from Brahma to Akanistha, to gather there to listen to the Dharma, and by reciting secret mantras, he did immeasurable benefit to beings. Even counting cannot exhaust them. The Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, how many Buddhas has he offered to and served? Those Buddhas cannot be understood by counting, because they all practice Brahmacharya from those Buddhas. In the past, countless eons ago, there was a Tathagata named Completely Peaceful Conduct. He only proclaimed the words of a Bodhisattva, that even the body and life of a Bodhisattva should be abandoned, and that one should strive diligently. At that time, Vajrapani, in that assembly, transformed into a Bodhisattva named Courageous Strength. He contemplated the meaning of the Tathagata's words, not seeing Nirvana as a virtue, but seeing Samsara as a benefit. Therefore, he made Samsara his field of practice, and embraced the immeasurable conduct of a Bodhisattva. The Tathagata praised him, saying "Well done," and taught the Dharma of completely purifying the field of practice. Just as all forms are the field of space, knowing that all Dharmas are the field of a Bodhisattva, he donned firm armor and served many Buddhas. Then, King Ajatashatru wondered whether the vajra held in Vajrapani's right hand was heavy or light. The Lord of Secrets, knowing his thoughts, said: This vajra is both heavy and light. It is heavy for subduing the arrogant and conceited, and it is light for those without arrogance and who are upright. Having said this, he blessed the ground with the vajra and placed the vajra on the ground, causing the great earth to shake in six ways. Then, the Lord of Secrets said to Ajatashatru: Lift this vajra from the ground. Although he had the strength to lift an elephant with one hand, he exerted all his strength but could not move the vajra even a hair's breadth. Amazed, he asked Indra to lift it. Indra also could not move it and was amazed, saying: I have been able to seize the seven hundred yojanas chariot of the Asura King Vepachitti, but I cannot even move this vajra. Why is that? So he asked the Buddha. The Buddha taught: This vajra is extremely heavy,
