It is said that the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanized: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) is raised upwards at the top of the middle finger, and at its top, the five-pronged vajra is contemplated as blazing with light. The syllables are hidden in the palm and the bell is rung. It is shown to the Dharma in an embracing manner. It is said that holding the bell and placing it on the lama in an embracing manner is showing the Dharma embracing the consort. Thus, all five families are blended. In general, there are four ways to establish mudras separately: the cause of arising is the vajra palms, the place of establishment is looking to the left and right, the place of transformation is the heart, and the meaning of liberation is the nature of reality. Among these, there are three places of transformation: possessing four mudras, possessing five families, and possessing both skillful means and wisdom. Possessing four mudras is: the binding vow mudra is: the yaksha fist placed at the heart. The thought is the Dharma mudra is: at the tip of the finger, etc., the speech is the syllable, and the mind is the mudra blazing with light. Showing the back of the raised [finger] to one's own heart, and meditating on the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at its tip as a five-pronged vajra blazing with light, is the samaya mudra of both binding and thought. The method of the Mother Prajñāpāramitā is: making the letters of the qualities of the moon into a fist and ringing the bell, making the gesture of embracing the Mother, and showing it to one's own body, is the karma mudra of both binding and thought, thereby making method and wisdom intertwine. In the path of means, the bindus of the four joys uniting into one is the hiding of the four syllables. Being drawn upwards by the wind is facing the heart. From the root mouth to the vajra path, the increase of bliss is the tip of the raised Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). The increase of bliss is blazing. The father's semen being obscured by the mother's rakta is the moon obscuring the hidden syllable. The mother's lotus increasing with bliss is the ringing of the bell. The bindu moving halfway out is the gesture of embracing. The bindu not going to the bhaga but being seized by the wind is showing it to the Dharma. From the ashes of that: Four bindus gather and become one, Gathered by the wind, it remains facing, The path of the mouth fully increases, The sound of the blazing mudra. The moon is obscured by the sun, The lotus fully increases, It is endowed with the sound of the bell. Whatever moves with the appearance of half-arising, Because there is no impurity, it is said to be shown. As it is said, the mudras of the five fathers are explained by combining them with the path of means. Of the Dhātvīśvarī: Hiding the four syllables, facing the heart, Thus, hiding the four syllables laṃ māṃ pāṃ tāṃ of the left [hand] in the hand, showing the back of the hand to the heart, and turning the palm outwards. Raising the Muṃ (藏文:མུཾ,梵文天城体:मुं,梵文罗马拟音:muṃ,汉语字面意思:姆) at the tip, ringing the bell and blazing, Thus, at the tip of the raised middle finger, imagine the bell from Muṃ (藏文:མུཾ,梵文天城体:मुं,梵文罗马拟音:muṃ,汉语字面意思:姆), and also ring the bell with the hand. The sun five syllables intertwine, Thus, the sun of the right hand is slow, those five hero syllables of the father, embrace the father. Bowing and looking with the radiance of a smile, Thus, the mother's body and mind bow to the father, and look with the radiance of a smiling face. Of Vairocana: Hiding the four syllables, facing the heart, Thus, hiding the four syllables a hūṃ svā hā of the father in the palm, showing the back of the hand to the heart, and showing the front of the hand outwards is facing. Raising the Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) at the tip, the wheel blazes, Thus, at the tip of the finger raised upwards is Oṃ (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡).
