具有一天半寿命者从东方而来，对他说道：我若成为具有功德的国王，此轮宝请靠近我。说完，便从天空方向靠近了。象宝是从檀香山中而来，尾巴上装饰着宝珠。国王骑上它，半天就能绕四大部洲一周。如果用脚行走，脚所触碰的地方都会变成金粉。马宝是青蓝色，鬃毛尾巴是红色，能降下七宝。国王骑上它，吃一顿饭的时间就能绕四大部洲一周，不疲劳也不困倦。珠宝宝的光芒日夜明亮，照亮方圆一百二十由旬。像下雨一样降下七宝，并布施给所有人。女宝是善良美丽的，能让国王心满意足。家主宝能按照国王的需求，如意地提供七宝，用之不竭。大臣宝是国王将军队分成四部分时，只需看一眼，军队就能聚集起来，具有力量和能力。如此拥有七宝后，镜面王心想：这样由往昔福德所生的国王血脉不能断绝。于是用香水沐浴，穿上干净的新衣服，手里拿着香炉。在包括香在内的四个方向跪下，说道：祈请居住在那个方向的圣者们，按照我的祈请前来。说完，从东西南北四个方向，每个方向来了两万个独觉佛，总共八万个独觉佛来到国王的宫殿。国王和大臣们用四种供养品来款待和供奉他们。也让小国王们供养独觉佛，那些小国王们寿命终结后，都转生到天界当了天神。镜面王用智慧利益他人。那个地方有个名叫“手杖婆罗门”的贫穷之人，从一个家主那里租了一头牛，白天使用，晚上把牛牵走。

One who had a lifespan of one and a half days came from the east, and said to him: If I become a king endowed with merit, may this wheel jewel come near to me. Having said this, it came near from the direction of the sky. The elephant jewel came from the sandalwood mountain, adorned with jewels on its tail. If the king rode it, it would circle the four continents in half a day. If he walked on foot, wherever his feet touched would turn into gold dust. The horse jewel was bluish-green in color, with a red mane and tail, and it could bring down the seven jewels. If the king rode it, he could circle the four continents in the time it took to eat a meal, without getting tired or weary. The jewel jewel's light was bright day and night, illuminating up to one hundred and twenty yojanas. It would rain down the seven jewels like rain and give them to everyone. The woman jewel was good and beautiful, and she would satisfy the king's heart. The householder jewel could provide the king with whatever seven jewels he needed, inexhaustibly. The minister jewel was such that when the king divided the army into four parts, the army would gather at just a glance, possessing strength and ability. Having thus possessed the seven jewels, King Mirror Face thought: Such a lineage of kings born from past merit must not be broken. So he bathed with scented water, put on clean new clothes, and held a censer in his hand. He knelt in the four directions, including the direction of Shang, and said: I beseech the noble beings who reside in that direction to come as I request. Having said this, from the four directions of east, south, west, and north, twenty thousand Pratyekabuddhas came from each direction, totaling eighty thousand Pratyekabuddhas, and went to the king's palace. The king and ministers offered them hospitality and offerings with the four kinds of provisions. He also had the minor kings make offerings to the Pratyekabuddhas, and when those minor kings reached the end of their lives, they were all reborn as gods in the heavens. King Mirror Face benefited others with wisdom. In that place, there was a poor man named "Cane Brahmin" who borrowed an ox from a householder, used it during the day, and led the ox away in the evening.

The householder finished eating and stood up. Not seeing the ox, he asked the stick-holder what happened to the ox, (and the stick-holder said) it was driven to your house. The householder said, 'Give me back my ox.' He said, 'I didn't lose it.' The two of them went to King Mirror-Face Wisdom and said they would go to have a judgment made. Another person's mare ran away, (and he said to) the stick-holder, 'Don't let that mare go.' (The stick-holder) threw a stone and broke the horse's leg. That person said, 'You broke my horse's leg, come here, let's go to the king.' They left, and the stick-holder started to run away, jumping onto a wall. He fell onto a weaving rope and died instantly. His wife grabbed the stick-holder and took him to the king. On the way, a carpenter was coming out of a deep water holding an adze. The stick-holder asked how deep the water was, (and the carpenter) said the water was very deep. The adze fell into the water and was not found. (The stick-holder said) 'You made my adze fall into the water.' He said he didn't, and went to the king. Then the stick-holder became tired and went to a tavern to ask for wine. The woman who sold wine had given birth to a boy, covered him with clothes, and put him to sleep (on the ground). (The stick-holder) sat on him, and the child died. They said he killed the child and went to the king. As (they) were going, in another place, a crow was sitting on a Shakotaka tree. It saw the stick-holder and asked where he was going. (The stick-holder said) 'I don't want to go, but they are taking me.' (The crow asked) 'Where are they taking you?' (The stick-holder said) 'To the king.' (The crow said) 'Then please take a message to the king for me. Please say, when I am on this Shakotaka tree in this place, if I sit on another tree, the sound is not pleasant, but when I come to this tree, the sound is pleasant and wonderful, why is that?' The one who was not the real mother, because she didn't care about the child, pulled hard. The king judged that the one who pulled gently was the child's mother, and gave the child to her. Then again, two people were arguing over a piece of cloth and came before the king. The king judged according to the previous judgment.
