Then, Dayugapajen said to the king, "These people guided me, and when I left, the snake sent this message." The king said to that snake, "Say these words: You will be happy when you come out of the hole because you are not angry and hungry. After coming out, because you ate too much food, you are tormented by the birds, and you become fat because you are angry, so when you enter again, you are stuck in the hole and suffer. If you know the amount of food and are not angry, you can enter happily just like coming out, say that." Then he spoke the wife's message, "You have a lover in your parents' house. When you live in your in-laws' house, you fall in love with him and want to go to your parents' house. When you live in your parents' house, the lover feels lonely and falls in love with the husband, so you want to go to your in-laws' house. Therefore, give up one place and keep one place well, and there will be no such harm," he said. Then he spoke the crow's message, "There is gold next to that tree, so your voice is pleasant. There is none next to other trees, so the voice is not pleasant," he said. Similarly, in response to the jackdaw, "In that direction, you have a small mountain, and when it becomes the edge of the village, there is treasure next to that dry tree. Give those to some people, and then leaving will be happy." In response to the deer, "Deer, you are there, honey drips from the mouth of that tree. Therefore, the grass and sprouts become sweet, you eat and eat, but the honey is gone, do not be obsessed with the taste. You are suffering because of impropriety," he said. Regarding the fire's message, "Where there is fire, there is no treasure in the direction where the fire's sound comes from. There is treasure where other sounds come from, so you show the treasure to some people, and it is not okay to suffer because of impropriety, go somewhere else." As a response to the snake and the mongoose, he said to them, "When you became humans and were born as two brothers, one wanted to divide the property, but the other was controlled by greed and did not divide it. Therefore, one became particularly attached to it, so he was born as a snake. The other also clung to the property and became particularly attached to it, so he was born as a mongoose."

Therefore, giving those riches to ascetics or Brahmins will bring happiness. The king said to the one with the staff: Although you have committed many offenses, I have forgiven you. You, who are poor and destitute, dig up the treasure of gold under that tree and take it away. The one with the staff, according to the king's command, each spoke their reply, and everyone listened accordingly. The snake, the mongoose, and the crow pointed out the treasure and gave it to the one with the staff, so he dug up the gold from under the tree and took it away. From then on, he was well-off and no longer worried about making a living, and lived a wealthy, comfortable, and happy life. After this was shown, the ministers praised, "Oh, how great is the courage of this deity!" That king built houses for giving alms at the four gates of the city and gave extensive alms. During the twelve years of famine, he also provided food to hundreds of thousands of suffering beings. Thus, when this Blessed One was previously born as King Mirror-Face, he bestowed great benefits upon sentient beings through wisdom and generosity. Furthermore, in a past life, in the city called Body-Excellent, there was a king named Increase who ruled the kingdom, and the land was prosperous and peaceful. That king's queen, Beautiful-Form, became pregnant, and at that time food became very abundant. Later, she gave birth to a boy, who was named Food. He became proficient in writing and crafts, and was brave, fearless, and of a violent nature. His mother, that queen, was pleased and proud of her son, and did not listen to the king's commands, always trying to contradict him, which displeased the king. Thereupon, the ministers requested the king to take another queen. When the daughter of the Sun King was sought, the Sun King said, "If my grandson is born and is made the heir to the throne, I will agree to the marriage." The ministers agreed. That princess also pleased the king and requested, "If I have a son, please make him the heir to the throne." King Increase thought to himself, "I have only one beloved son, Food, who is handsome, and born in accordance with my lineage, how can I give the throne to another?" He became hesitant, and then the ministers

We had previously promised the king under the sun. But because he had no son or daughter, we said it would be good if that holy one could be granted, and the king agreed. Later, the daughter of the king under the sun became pregnant and gave birth to a handsome boy, who was named "Enthusiastic for the Throne." Then, the king under the sun also sent a messenger, saying, "If you do not let my grandson inherit the throne, I will gather an army and come to your country." When they were worried, the ministers advised the king, "Give the throne to the younger son, and then kill the young 'Food'." The king said, "Do not speak such words that are not in accordance with the Dharma. I have heard of sons killing fathers, but I have not heard of fathers killing sons, so I will not do that." They said, "If you do not kill him, then cripple him." The king said, "To cripple him is the same as killing him." The ministers said, "Then what else can we do? Let's banish him." The king said, "How can we banish him without a crime?" They said, "Before long, the young man will surely make a mistake, so for now, give the throne to 'Enthusiastic for the Throne,' and then the young 'Food' will understand on his own." Then, on an auspicious day, the king gave the throne to the grandson of the king under the sun. The young 'Food' heard this and thought, "The gods have abandoned me, and even if I stay here, I will be killed." So he told his mother the story and said, "I am going to the country of Five Takes, please be aware." The mother was heartbroken and hugged her son's neck, saying, "You used to enjoy great wealth of comfort and happiness, how will you now wander in barren lands and forests?" She spoke various verses of sorrow. 'Food' said, "Who is always happy? Who is always suffering? Who does not obtain happiness? Who does not obtain it?" And so on, he made his mother understand many reasons, and then went to the country of Five Takes. There, one of the Five Takes people who worked for the king came here.

I saw him and thought: Who is this person with a handsome and beautiful appearance, a strong and robust physique, and possessing various excellent characteristics? I inquired about him, and he narrated everything in detail. He took that person as a gift and presented him to the King of Five Acquisitions, and told him what had happened. The King of Five Acquisitions embraced his neck, spoke various joyful words, and gave him his daughter and lands. He played with that daughter, and she gave birth to a son who was handsome, robust, and like a lion. The father took a word from his own name and named the son "Much Food." When he grew up and began to study writing, his father, Much Food, passed away. The king's daughter was extremely saddened. The King of Five Acquisitions thought: These women mostly desire men, so I should give her to someone. Therefore, he gave the daughter, along with the young Much Food, to the attendant. He and the attendant experienced great joy and pleasure. After some time, near the attendant's house, a crow was making noise. A Brahmin diviner passing by heard it and said: Whoever eats its flesh will become king. The attendant heard these words and asked the Brahmin again. He killed the crow and said to his wife: Quickly cook this crow, and I will return from the royal palace. Having said this, he went to the royal palace. After a while, the boy Much Food returned from school, hungry, and came home but did not see his mother. Thinking about what to eat, he saw a crow in a pot, head pointing upwards, being cooked. He cut off its head and ate it. Afterwards, the mother came back and asked: Who ate the head of this crow? He said: I ate it. The mother gave him food and sent him to school. The attendant came back and started to eat the crow, but the head was missing. He asked what had happened, and the wife said that the boy had eaten it. He ate the rest and thought: Will one become king by eating the whole crow, or by eating an incomplete part of it? He called the previous Brahmin diviner and asked him. The diviner said: Whoever eats its head will become king. Or, having eaten the crow's head
