未播种。当赡部洲没有珍宝的时候，我如果能证得无上圆满菩提，那么，我的这个愿望也完全实现吧！我成为赡部洲的商主，七次获得如意宝，愿在这个佛土的所有洲际之间，降下各种珍宝的雨！同样，在十方佛土，充满五浊，如恒河沙数的地方，也降下各种珍宝的雨！如是发愿之后，我的愿望完全实现，经过恒河沙数大劫之后，我成为商主，在那样的佛土中，降下珍宝之雨，每个洲际都七次降下各种珍宝的雨。这样，无数无量的众生，都因珍宝而心愿圆满，并必定与三乘相应。种姓之子，请看如来完全布施珍宝的善根。此外，在无数劫过去之后，在一个名为“喜悦”的劫中，这个佛土名为“昏暗”，充满五浊，众生的寿命达到五千岁时，我因愿力的作用，在这个赡部洲转生为诵读吠陀的婆罗门，名为日鬘香。那时，大多数众生总是怀有敌意，处于争斗之中，总是想压制他人。我以压制他人的强大力量，教导那些众生将五蕴视为敌人，将十二处视为空城，以及缘起的相互依存、生灭的规律，还有随念呼吸的出入。我将这些众生与将善根回向于无上圆满菩提的发心相结合，我自己也获得了五种神通。我教导并引导了无数无量的众生，使他们获得了五种神通。同样，无数无量的众生也摆脱了争斗

Not sown. When there are no jewels in Jambudvipa, if I could attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, then, may this wish of mine be completely fulfilled! May I become a merchant leader in Jambudvipa, and seven times obtain wish-fulfilling jewels, and may I shower down various jewels on all the continents of this Buddha-field! Likewise, in the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, filled with the five degenerations, as many as the sands of the Ganges, may I also shower down various jewels! Having made such a prayer, may my wish be completely fulfilled, and after countless great kalpas, as many as the sands of the Ganges, may I become a merchant leader, and in those Buddha-fields, may I shower down rains of jewels, and on each continent, may I shower down rains of various jewels seven times. In this way, may countless immeasurable beings have their wishes completely fulfilled by the jewels, and may they be definitely connected to the three vehicles. Son of the lineage, look at the root of virtue of the Tathagata's complete giving of jewels. Furthermore, after countless kalpas have passed, in a kalpa called "Joyful," this Buddha-field called "Dim," filled with the five degenerations, when beings' lifespans reach five thousand years, I, by the power of my aspiration, will be born in this Jambudvipa as a Brahmin who recites the Vedas, named Sun Garland Incense. At that time, most beings will always be hostile, dwelling in strife, and always wanting to suppress others. With the great power of suppressing others, I will teach those beings to regard the five aggregates as enemies, to regard the twelve sources as empty cities, as well as the interdependence of dependent origination, the law of arising and ceasing, and the mindfulness of the in-and-out breathing. I will combine these beings with the mind of dedicating the roots of virtue to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and I myself will also attain the five clairvoyances. I will teach and guide countless immeasurable beings, causing them to attain the five clairvoyances. Likewise, countless immeasurable beings will also be freed from strife.

断绝嫌隙和憎恨，在森林中食用树根和果实，修习禅定，以四梵住度过日夜。之后，当那个劫将要结束时，那些布施之处遍布整个赡部洲，争斗也平息了，不合时宜的雨和风也平息了，依赖于土地的庄稼成熟且充满光泽。然而，由于时节的灾难，唯有各种疾病的威胁。我心想：我未能平息这些众生的疾病。于是，我召集了帝释天、梵天、世间守护神和天等仙人，心想为了众生的利益，应当宣说调配药物的论典。于是我以神变前往，告诫帝释天和梵天等人类仙人，将他们聚集在名为“盐山之主”的，确定为食用盐的顶峰之处的地方。我遣除并守护了鬼神，创作并充分宣说了能彻底平息风、胆、涎的论典。同样地调配，也平息了无数众生的疾病。在那里，我仅用一天就使无数众生从各种疾病中解脱出来，使他们智慧显现，将他们与三乘结合，切断了恶趣之路，安置于善趣之路。赐予智慧之光，安置于安乐，以此善根成熟，我的愿望完全实现。同样地，在那个佛土的所有洲，也做了那样的丈夫之业。如同那个佛土一样，在十方佛土，充满五浊，如恒河沙数般的佛土中，也做了那样的丈夫之业，也宣说了各种明处。如同在此佛土发愿一样，在如恒河沙数的佛土中，我也如发愿一样，做了利益众生的丈夫之业。请看如来菩提之行所行的智慧之差别，以及所播下的三种善行的善种子。同样地，经历了无数劫更为久远的时间。

Having abandoned animosity and hatred, eating roots and fruits in the forest, practicing meditation, and spending days and nights with the four Brahma-viharas. Then, as that kalpa was nearing its end, those places of almsgiving became pervasive throughout Jambudvipa, and strife and conflict also subsided. Untimely rains and winds also subsided. The crops that depended on the land ripened and became full of luster. However, due to the dangers of the times, there was only the threat of various diseases. I thought to myself: I have not been able to pacify the diseases of these sentient beings. So, I gathered Indra, Brahma, the world protectors, and the sages such as the gods, and thinking that for the sake of sentient beings, I should teach the treatises on compounding medicines, I went by means of miraculous power. I instructed Indra and Brahma, and the human sages, and gathered them at a place called "Lord of the Salt Mountain," which is known as the peak of salt consumption. I warded off and protected the spirits, and composed and fully taught the treatise that thoroughly pacifies wind, bile, and phlegm. Similarly, by compounding it, I also pacified the diseases of countless sentient beings. There, in just one day, I freed countless sentient beings from various diseases, illuminated their wisdom, connected them to the three vehicles, cut off the path of the lower realms, and placed them on the path of higher realms. By giving the light of wisdom and placing them in happiness, the roots of virtue matured, and my aspiration was completely fulfilled. Similarly, in all the continents of that Buddha-field, I also performed such deeds of a man. Just like that field, in the ten directions of Buddha-fields, filled with the five degenerations, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, I also performed such deeds of a man, and also taught various fields of knowledge. Just as I made aspirations in this field, so too in the fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, just as I made aspirations, I performed such deeds of a man to benefit beings. Look at the distinction of wisdom in practicing the conduct of enlightenment of the Tathagata, and the seeds of virtue of the three good practices that were sown. Similarly, for countless kalpas and even longer.

过去之后，当出现名为“大劫善成”的恶世之时，此佛土转变为名为“遍胜妙音”的国土，并具足五浊。在东方，经过五十个四洲之后，我为了使众生完全成熟，而诞生于名为“欢喜”的赡部洲，成为四洲之主，转轮之王，名为虚空。在那里，我也使众生安住于十善业和三乘之中，成为一切布施者，并向一切布施。在那里，乞丐们来到我这里，索要黄金、蓝宝石和巨大的珍珠等各种珍宝，他们也因此获得了如此众多的珍宝。那时，我问大臣们：这些珍宝从何而来？他们回答说：龙王们显露了宝藏，因为世间出现了宝藏，所以才出现了这些珍宝，但他们只显露了像在天神面前祈求的那么一点点。那时，我发愿道：如果我像在具足五浊的刹土中成佛一样，愿我的这个愿望完全实现。愿我在这佛土的每一个洲都转生为能显露宝藏的龙王七次，每一次转生都显露和布施充满各种珍宝的十万俱胝个宝藏。愿黄金和蓝宝石等直至水位的宝藏，每一个都广达千由旬，充满众多珍宝，并显露和布施给众生。就像在这个刹土一样，在具足五浊的十方世界，如恒河沙数般的每一个洲，也同样获得七次转生并显露宝藏，我如此发愿之后，天空中的天神们降下花雨，并赐予“善哉”，说你的愿望将会如你所愿地实现。并且，天神们从天空的中央，将虚空国王的名字命名为一切布施，大多数人都听到了。

After the past, when the evil time called "Great Kalpa Well-Accomplished" occurred, this Buddha-field transformed into a realm called "Completely Victorious Melodious Sound," becoming endowed with the five degenerations. To the east, after passing fifty four-continents, I was born in a Jambudvipa called "Joyful" in order to fully ripen sentient beings, becoming the sovereign of the four continents, a wheel-turning king named Sky. There, I also established sentient beings in the ten virtues and the three vehicles, becoming the giver of all and bestowing upon all. There, beggars came to me, requesting gold, sapphires, and great pearls, etc., various jewels, and they obtained so many jewels. At that time, I asked the ministers, "Where did these jewels come from?" They replied, "The dragon kings have revealed treasures. Because treasures have appeared in the world, these jewels have come into being, but they have only revealed as much as is requested before the gods." At that time, I made the aspiration, "If I am to attain enlightenment in a field endowed with the five degenerations, may this wish of mine be completely fulfilled. May I take seven births in each continent of this Buddha-field as a dragon king who reveals treasures, and in each birth, may I reveal and bestow hundreds of thousands of treasures filled with various jewels. May each treasure of gold, sapphires, and so on, up to the waterline, be a thousand yojanas in extent, filled with many jewels, and may they be revealed and bestowed upon sentient beings. Just as in this field, in the same way, in the ten directions of the world, as many as the grains of sand in the Ganges River, may I take seven births in each of all the continents and reveal treasures." Having made this aspiration, the gods of the sky showered flowers and bestowed "Well done," saying, "Your wish will be fulfilled as you desire." And the gods, from the center of the sky, named King Sky as All-Giving, which was heard by most people.

然后，我们应当向他乞讨那些极难施舍的布施。心想：如果施舍了，他的名声就会像那样改变；如果不施舍，就不会改变。于是，向国王乞讨妃子、儿子和女儿等一切，国王都以极大的欢喜心施舍了。名叫星喜的婆罗门乞讨了王位，他亲自为那人灌顶为王，布施了整个赡部洲，并发愿证得无上菩提。并且发愿说：我现在让他当国王，愿他也能以言辞统治整个赡部洲，长寿，长久地安住于转轮王的王位，并且在我成佛的时候，他能成为我的王位继承人，被授记证得圆满菩提。名叫欲望的婆罗门乞讨了两条腿，他亲自用利剑割断，并以欢喜心施舍。名叫观护的婆罗门乞讨了两只眼睛，名叫妙音的婆罗门乞讨了两只耳朵，名叫正命的修行者乞讨了阳具，其他人乞讨了血肉，他都亲自割舍施舍，并为了菩提而发愿。名叫常行饮乳的外道乞讨了两只手，他自己用右手砍断左手，又让人砍断右手施舍，并发愿获得无上的信心之手。当时，身体浸泡在血泊中，心想：如果我以这种施舍能获得无上果位，那么，一定能毫不费力地找到取我身体的人。这样发愿。那时，康国的国王、大臣和众生都变得没有慈悲心，不报恩，心怀邪念，智慧浅薄。他们说：既然肢体都被砍断，又失去了王位的权势，现在要这些血肉有什么用呢？于是，他们把那人抬到城外的尸林中丢弃了。在那里，肉蝇、长嘴蚊子等吸食他的血液，狗、狐狸和秃鹫等也聚集来啄食他的肉。在那里，我以极大的欢喜心发愿：在我施舍王位的权势和一切肢体时，没有产生丝毫后悔。

Then, we should beg him for those gifts that are extremely difficult to give away. Thinking, 'If he gives them away, his name will change accordingly; if he doesn't give them away, it won't change.' So, he begged the king for his consorts, sons, and daughters, and the king gave them all away with great joy. A Brahmin named Star-Delight begged for the kingdom, and he himself enthroned that person as king, gave away the entire Jambudvipa, and made aspirations to attain unsurpassed enlightenment. And he made the aspiration: 'Now that I have made him king, may he also rule the entire Jambudvipa with words, be long-lived, and abide in the kingdom of a wheel-turning monarch for a long time. And when I become a Buddha, may he become my successor and be prophesied to attain perfect enlightenment.' A Brahmin named Desire begged for two legs, and he himself cut them off with a sharp sword and gave them away with joy. A Brahmin named Watchful begged for two eyes, a Brahmin named Sweet-Sound begged for two ears, a practitioner named Right-Livelihood begged for his genitals, and others begged for flesh and blood, which he himself cut off and gave away, and made aspirations for enlightenment. An ascetic named Always-Drinking-Milk begged for two hands, and he himself cut off his left hand with his right hand, and then had his right hand cut off and given away, and made aspirations to obtain the unsurpassed hand of faith. At that time, with his body soaked in blood, he thought, 'If I can attain the unsurpassed state through this giving, then I will surely find someone to take my body without difficulty.' Thus he made the aspiration. Then, the king, ministers, and beings of the kingdom of Khams became without compassion, ungrateful, with perverse minds, and shallow wisdom. They said, 'Since his limbs have all been cut off and he has lost the power of the kingdom, what use is this flesh and blood now?' So, they carried him and abandoned him in the charnel ground outside the city. There, flesh flies and long-beaked mosquitoes sucked his blood, and dogs, foxes, and vultures gathered to peck at his flesh. There, I made aspirations with great joy: 'When I gave away the power of the kingdom and all my limbs, not a moment of regret arose.'
